My beloved granny used to say"morning and health" as a good start for the day. Before going to bed she used to say "we'll see tomorrow if somebody wants it". Both greetings are so appropriate in these weird times. Folk wisdom!!! Take care 🇮🇹🍀🇬🇧
Thank you, Lucy for sharing these alternative ways of greetings.
It's always my pleasure to watch your videos. I find them ever so pleasantly.
1. Morning!
That's ANOTHER one to use for good morning!
2. Look Alive!
That is a BRITISH PHASE used when a person is taking a long time to get prepared in the morning!
Thank you, Lucy for all these btw 🧡🙈

Lucy I used to watch your videos. Those were amazing. It inspired me a lot.
Thank you so much Miss Lucy for inspiring us❤
FYI (For Your Information) ‘sleep tight’ actually comes from a time in the past when the bed base was strung with ropes a bit like a hammock: Over time the ropes would loosen and would need to tightening. Therefore, to say sleep tight was to say sleep comfortably as your mattress was supported with the correct tension. To ‘Hit the hay’ comes from the fact that many lower of the poorer people used to stuff their ‘mattresses’ with hay.
She can say absolutely anything and I would love listening to her talk 🥰🥰

Rise and shine in my first language *SWAHILI* is "Amka Uangaze" 😅😅 and in my country Tanzania.. it's mostly used in religious settings to mean "Go and be your best self for you and others"
Haha
Beautiful indeed!
Is Swahili used in the Lion King?
😁😁true
@@manigupta2299 indeed it is.. most of the names like "simba" "shenzi" "pumba" and words like "rafiki" are examples.. and in the live action remake.. Beyonce's *SPIRIT* used a Swahili phrase, "Uishi kwa muda mrefu mfalme" which literally translates to "Long live the king"
