This the result of the FIA acquiescing to the desires of the Liberty Media Group, owners of WSBK, in penalizing one brand of motorcycle over the others, by added 7.5kg. weight. This is not only unethical, it an egregious abuse against the rule of open competition.
@@BobbyOfEarth No need to cry so much, Bau is still the lightest rider in wsbkn, not 7.5 kilos, even if they didn't add only 3 kilos, the result wouldn't have changed this year. Last year wsbkn's worst bike was yamaha and Toprak was competing with Ducatis.

"World" SBK Championship is a misnamer. It is not a world championship-no races in the Americas nor in Asia. Only the one in Australia. Five of the races are in Spain and Portugal with the rest in Europe. The FIM should should take Dorna to task over this.
