Teddy and Filo had the true house moves and rhythm, judges are blind. Ukay and Adnan are like hip hop dancers who took some house classes.... Adnan straight started off popping ffs then Ukay was mostly grinding and hopping on the floor. Only Teddy and Filo hit the house chill steps. Ukay has his soccer kick style and Adnan you could tell wanted to pop. This isn't dance your style, it's chill HOUSE judges don't know what house mood is. You have to sway, who has the better " chill hip sway " ?? Obviously Teddy & Filo.
Popularity, I know I don't have a quarter of the jury members' track record, but I find that votes are increasingly linked to popularity or favoritism.
Amazing exchange! To me personally it's also Teddy & Filo, coz of the 2nd round. First was even. But not mad at the decision, it was hard to judge overall. Sekou also chose Ukay & Andan, he def knows about house more than most of us. So stop hating)))
That's not how judging works, what you see and feel at the time in the moment is different from when you look back at it. Ukay and Andan probably wowed Sekou but honestly Teddy and Filo have that house in them more. If you don't believe that then look up Brooklyn Terry rewatching battles he judged.
@eej1.07 Firstly, i agree, 1st and 2nd impressions can be very different. But then it might be said about all the other battles as well. Judging battles like this is by itself very subjective and "first impression based" activity. I just wonder: if someone questions the judges making choice based on how they feel in the moment, why they even care about who "won"? One can just watch the rounds then, and disregard judging at all, if they don't see this system legit. And secondly, it's up to judges to decide, what deserves a win more - sticking to foundations and building on them, or bringing elements from other styles into house. If he chose the latter, i guess it was organic enough for him to outweigh that Italian swag.

So I think it sucks

It’s FILO, not Flo😅
"Plastic Dreams" - Jaydee
Ukay and Adnan are good, but they danced just to the beat.
They didn't reflect the flow of the music at all
