You’re the GOAT for using common button notation and not that “4HS” stuff. A lot of people made beginner friendly videos but proceeded to use that specific button notation for some reason

Well some combos (like the 3rd) allows you to put them in the corner, and with the self knockback of the corner you easily switch between mid-range and close range.
For anyone having trouble hitting the 5K after the 623P, i was too, i realized the kick is basically impossible to hit if you were dashing into the other person when you start the combo. you have to be standing completely still. I will second another comment that said to try a 2K in place of the 5K, since the timing is a bit easier for only 2 less damage.
very very few youtubers use the already existing in game combo recipe function.... now im stuck trying to read fighting game lingo, which im fluent in....but there is just something about seeing the recipe without needing to start transcribing before doing a combo
To anyone who still cares about the 0:36 combo, I had trouble with the eralumo after the kick. To get the eralumo to connect you have to input the kick, and start buffering eralumo after. Basically you have to be confident that the kick will land.

I found a work around! After the dp you can just do a 2k and it’ll still combo! I’ve only done this for the second one this video shows and idk if the damage scaling changes it but I’m just happy I found an easier way

You can input each command one at the time, it won't show as a combo (they would be all grey colored), but the list would be there for you to guide yourself.
For 5K > 2D > 623P > 5K combos, I'm getting a knockup on Dauro, but not enough time for the 5k to hit. Is there a dash cancel or something out of Dauro, or am I just not getting fast enough inputs?
Update, Getting combos off of Dauro consistently now. Just gotta keep practicing and find the timing that works. Need the fastest Dauro and 5K you can get to the 214P combo off. The Dauro > 5K > 236H.S. combos have less tight timing, and is a good one to practice first.

Cool combos forsure although many of these leave you in pretty bad spots in neutral, I'd opt for practicing the ones that leave you as close to your opponent as possible! For competitive players :)
I'm having a lot of trouble getting the mortobato to come out at the end of the 1:06 combo. I try doing the input multiple times but the move won't come out until they're out of hit stun. Any tips?
2d>623p you need to input the daruo faster, it will only launch if it combos. 2s>5hs>214p the hs has to hit very close to be in range for the rekka, if far slash comes out you are too far away.

@@aleynino Hori, Razer, doesn't really matter. However, it's by no means required to play these games. In fact, you will probably struggle with inputting a lot of stuff even with stick. I started on a pad in 2017, switched to stick 6 months later and even now, some stuff is just difficult if haven't practiced it. The tools will not compensate for lack of practice!
The input for Dauro is actually straining on my thumb to pull off on controller...is there a shortcut input for it or anything? I don't wanna stop playing Ram because of one move giving me trouble...
You don't, when blocking you can use your roman cancel (yellow) and it will act as a pseudo burst, but if you're getting hit you can't get out unless you have burst, that's the point of combos.

this is my first 2D fighter and although i can consistently do all of these commands, for some reason i cannot link the dauro (as a finisher) after the punches of the first combo nor the erarlumo after the standing kick of the second one. anyone mind helping explain the rhythm, speed or visual indicators of what im doing wrong? appreciate it 🥋
I found one of the hit confirm missions to explain it pretty well, you need to start to input the directions before the previous attack hits, then input the attack button. So in the case of the first combo it would be something like input P, P hit, input P, P hit, input P, input 623, P hit, input P, 623P hit.
You are not linking it, you are canceling the recovery part after hit of P. What this means for rhythm is that as soon as you have input P, you need to be inputting the Dauro input and P when the 3rd punch is hitting. You need to be very fast with your Dauro input.
I think maybe there's some new patches that been added cause I'm pretty damn solid on the sticks with any fighting games. And I know when Im pressing the buttons correctly and the timing of pressing these buttons, and if you know your pretty good with the sticks just as I am. Then you know what I mean. Something is completely off and not adding. I mean I'm doing what the commands say, the timing is a very critical must be done damn near perfect to execute type of ordea, yes I completely and 1000% agree and accept that function. But when your experienced and been trying to do the same combos or similar combos for days and days and days and hours and hours of these day and still havent got it executed then it's the game. And I believe it's been some type of updated patches applied to the game. I don't care what anybody else thinks. Simple as that. Now can someone show me a June 2023 updated version of Ramlethal Valentine combos and do those exact combos. Thank you.
Hello, I have been practicing these combos, but I been having a problem with the standing kick to come out after the DP input. It has been very inconsistent for me and I don't know why it sometimes does it and other times it eats my inputs.
Some one knoe where are the combos? In the dojo of gg xrd have a section where you can see all the cambos of the characther but in strive i only can see the mission and they are not all the combos only 5 some can answer me

I cannot get Sabrobato to land after the bajoneto explosion. Tried so many times, not sure what's going wrong. I time it just after the explosion like the video.
They are directions based on a numerical pad, so 5 would be neutral because 5 is in the middle (meaning you don't press anything), 6 means forward, 2 means down, 4 is back, and so on, just look at the num pad in your keyboard in case you forget. For example 214 means down > downward left > back, or in simpler terms a half circle back.
@@CharroArgentino yea i eventually figured that out. having a tenkeyless keyboard didnt help me make that connection lol. and the only other fighter ive played is mk11 where numbers meant what button on a controller you were pressing 1 being square, 2 triangle, 3 cross, and 4 circle (on playstation). so seeing these numbers were confusing. thanks for the response

If you have enough meter your can RRC after 5S or 5S,HS then insert your prefered combo after that, though I guess that would be pretty expensive

2:21 the close S starter has to be done from a Dash to get the forward inertia to land the 214P.
Without the dash it'll miss.
3:27 You can hit the 3rd Erarlmuro > RC > 214HS, you just have to hit 214HS a little later

I don't think a combo involving roman cancel is more beginner friendly than doing a 2H instead of 5h (3:07)

The trick I was taught recently was to go forward, then quarter circle forwards immediately afterwards.

The best advice I can give you is that you pay for what you get. A decent arcade stick will not go for much under $150 or so.

it depends on the height of the enemy when the kick lands. If its above the bajoneto you'll knock them up instead of carrying to the corner.

It's a rekka so it should work if you just 214P 214P 214P. Sometimes they can fall out after the first hit though

I play on pad and am having serious trouble inputting moves like Dauro. Does anyone have any tips?
As long as you were holding forward before inputting a quarter moon you get a dp motion.
new to fighters... what the hell do the numbers mean? 623P? 214P? i get that p means punch... the numbers mean nothing to a noobie
They are directions based on a numerical pad, so 5 would be neutral because 5 is in the middle (meaning you don't press anything), 6 means forward, 2 means down, 4 is back, and so on, just look at the num pad in your keyboard in case you forget. For example 214 means down > downward left > back, or in simpler terms a half circle back.

@@CharroArgentino yea i eventually figured that out. having a tenkeyless keyboard didnt help me make that connection lol. and the only other fighter ive played is mk11 where numbers meant what button on a controller you were pressing 1 being square, 2 triangle, 3 cross, and 4 circle (on playstation). so seeing these numbers were confusing. thanks for the response
