Kudos to Joan Ganz Cooney - this brilliant program was ahead of its time. A generation of kids who grew up on this were reading and writing before their 3rd birthday.
this is cool i like this video because it's showing me why i love sesame street even though i have loved it since i was growing up and now i am 22 years old probably gonna have kids and i like how the dog muppet teacher says "Groovy" fantastic really shows it was actually an authentic 1960's video
The CTW didn't die but Jim Henson did and Richard Hunt too. Yes, every year and season the show dose change. I did grow up with it and I still watch it today.
