Why does this not have more likes?
They should’ve made the Hogwarts castle like the Cinderella castle and have the common rooms be a place you can pay to stay in like a hotel! And if no one is currently staying, the rest of us should be able to tour it!
I agree, another missed opportunity. Hogwarts is accepted by many as the face of Universal like Cinderella's Castle is to Disney World, even by some who aren't fans of the Harry Potter franchise.

me too, when I went the first time I was gutted but everything else made up for it, it was beautiful
Hey, at least Universal listened to Rowling and tried their best to replicate many of the lands from her books as faithfully as possible. Disney lost the theme park rights because they stone cold would not budge. They did not want a Hogwarts Castle and that pretty much torpedoed their chances. Rowling was shocked and told them pretty much "You CAN'T have a Harry Potter theme park without Hogwarts!"
Forgot to add: they still refused her request but put out a few feeble plans for some HP themed attractions such as a magic hat spinner (clearly a knockoff of the Mad Hatter teacups). She was so frustrated that she just got up and walked out the door. I wish they would build a Hogwarts style hotel with 4 floors or 4 separate buildings. Each can be a different color so you can stay in a wing that represents your house: Red for Gryffindor, Yellow for Hufflepuff, etc.
Honestly, the first time I even heard they were going to be building the castle for a theme park, I might have built it up a bit much in my head and thought "okay, they will build the castle by a lake or create an artificial one (the boats on the lake would be one of those tours you pay for), the castle would be sort of like a hotel with literally everything the castle in the books and/or movies has, each common room would have rooms (for the convenience of the stay and for the clients, it would be separate and not common dormitories) and the common room itself would be sort of like a hall. The Great Hall would be sort of like a restaurant with a menu and the attractions would be anything you sort of want to visit in the castle as well as the grounds." I know that these expectations are a tad unrealistic (although I am willing to bet there are a lot of Harry Potter fans that would pay good money for a stay like that) but the fact, from my understanding, the castle itself is just a prop and the "castle" you visit is a pattern with the most notable places in the movies is a bit disappointing. It's not a free roam and that kinda bummed me out.
Lets hope they add to this. Sigh.

What I like about Peter’s channel is that it is HP specific. I enjoy other theme park videos, but the best part of Universal Orlando is being able to live in the Wizarding World for a while. We all need that escape, especially now.
I was just there last weekend and I still enjoyed watching this video! Every time I visit I see something different than the time before. If anyone asks me about it I always tell that it's such a unique experience because of how immersive it is. I spent more time in the lines this past visit just to appreciate everything 🏰🧙🏻♀️⚡

Oh my goodness whenever I see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter on a video, it makes me want to go there even more! As exciting as that sounds, the situation in the world makes it so difficult to go to Orlando. I do want to be safe and maintain my good health. I live in France and I was fortunate enough to travel to California last winter and ride the Forbidden Journey several times, however I only ever went through the single rider line so let me tell you this video makes me so flipping happy, you have no idea
