Thank you for this tutorial!! I'm getting married in May and I've been doing all the flowers myself. I didn't know where to start with making the swags for my arch - how to secure the flowers together or how it would attach to the arch, so this is such a HUGE help!
I'm trying to start a silk flower business, but I figured buying wholesale is the only way to make a profit. I figured people wouldn't want to buy flowers from hobby lobby after the markup, but seems you are succeeding with that approach? I really like floral stuff I've seen in hobby stores and would love to incorporate them as well. Thank you for posting this video 💜
I have watched this over and over and over again. My first try and you really helped 😊. Thank you so much, I’m making 1 large and 1 smaller for my daughters wedding, so very important to get it right. I made the smaller and I think it came out beautiful thanks to you. Your the best ❤
Your arch turned out amazing! Gorgeous! Absolutes the info I need to help my gf with her daughter’s wedding florals! Thank you so much for sharing your talents!
Thank You… I’m doing my sons wedding & I have to do a arch on the beach…. I’ve done my daughters we’d bouquets, but never this.. I have been so nervous… And this you did is absolutely beautiful
Wow! I started making last year and that included corner arches. I’m following ur way and I’m so excited! I’ve been cutting a square metal form diagonal, zip tying pine garland then using that as a base. Ur way is awesome! Just glad I have some ficus because everyone is out of stock (General Wholesale, craft outlet). Ugh. Thank you!!
Oh my gosh, your tutorial was wonderful! Worthy of watching over and over. I admit when your video is sped up, I slowed it down in order to be able to watch more closely. Thank you so much. New subbie. I am already getting familiar with your website. :)
This is gorgeous. I use a mirror to do my RUclips tarot readings and I am planning on making this for the corner of my mirror for my Valentine’s Day Readings. Thank you for this beautiful tutorial.
@OhYoureLovely you are so talented! At 17:48, on the shelf over your coffee bar, you have a picture frame "holding" a bouquet of flowers. Can you *please* make a tutorial for this?! I looked through your videos but didn't see one. I love it so much! New subscriber.
Hey! I did this project on a facebook live I will like that one as well as a slightly different version as well I created later on. fb.watch/boJcPPgj3Q/ and fb.watch/boJe6kn7Lu/
Hi I just love your videos, I have watched quite a few as I prepare for my sisters upcoming wedding bouquets/decor. I wanted your opinion as to if wood flowers and artificial flowers blend well together in a bouquet? Thanks in advance for your time.
Thank you so much for this!!!! I've been trying to find someone to show me what to do, so I can finish my daughter's wedding arch. You are a blessing!!!!
This was SO helpful! Can you help give me an idea of what the greenery picks are called!? And maybe some ideas of names of more wild flower greenery to use for my arch? I am so excited to try this!
Oh my god you are such a clever , talented lady . I came across your video whilst researching for a BIG project I’m about to undertake on my shop front !!! I’m a nail technician so I’m creative ... by mechanically... you’re talking to a girl who can just about change a light bulb So if I may please message you for some advice ? I just like to know the best secure way to attach this to a metal shop frame ... just a nail ? I’ve had a professional qoute me nearly 2k... but I have all the materials and I’m happy and would be proud , to put this together myself . I’m just very anxious about attaching to the shop front Please tell me it’s as easy as it looks x
Beautiful!! Thank you for sharing. I would love to see a video of a 90 degree arch that has little greenery and more solid wood flowers. My wedding is in November and I’m going to try to do an all Sola Flower Wedding. :)
Hi! I work primarily with wood flowers. I am sure there is a better tutorial out there on how to make a fresh flower arch. I would hate to give you bad advice!
It would be a personal preference as well as how it is being installed. I have used both I still like the florist foam a bit more but the cost of a pool noodle cant be beat!
Very nice! I didn’t quite decipher if all the greens and flowers used were artificial... or whether some were live and others artificial (check through the comments and it doesn’t look like anyone else has asked yet)
This has been soooo helpful! I’m doing my first wedding arch in a few weeks and I was stuck on how to even begin. Thanks so much for all the tips. You’ve given me direction and inspiration!
Are you using dye or paint ? I found some cheap paint from Walmart and Joanne fabrics and just diluted with some water and glycerin . They had a wide variety of paint .. I didn’t find one called dusty rose but I think achieved a similar color mixing nude pinks /mauve together
This is beautiful! I definitely had a fear about making arch decor too! I just made mine a few days ago for my wedding this year although now I think I need to add a few more elements 😂 thanks as always for your tutorials!!
Your videos are so detailed, I love it! Do you have a rough idea how to calculate how much greenery and flowers you will need for DIY arrangements? Trying to work out cost :)
I'm doing all the flowers for my son's wedding. I've been watching multiple videos and I am just questioning what is the purpose of the floral wire? I have seen many videos where people don't use floral wire. There are many people who don't use it. So I'm just questioning why use it at all.

Love love love your tutorial! Made a boho arrangement for a mini shoot I am doing!
Happy creating!!! ❤
This was SO helpful! Can you help give me an idea of what the greenery picks are called!? And maybe some ideas of names of more wild flower greenery to use for my arch? I am so excited to try this!
I love this so much! Thank you! What would I do if I wanted to make a larger arch?
I would continue to add floral foam bricks one brick though will hold a ton of stems just to keep that in mind.
I love this! Can you share a list of the different greenery you used?
Oh my goodness that is so pretty!! Thanks for all the tips and tricks !! You make it look easy. :)
It's much easier than I thought it would be ♥️
Your swag is beautiful. Good job! Would you please provide a materials list in regard to quantities needed for each item? Thank you.
Love it !!! Thank you for all ur tricks 💕
Pretty

Am in ❤ with this..beautiful
So glad you liked the tutorial
Awesome video, thanks for sharing! I saw these on Etsy and the seller wanted $195 each. So of course, I come to RUclips and make it myself.
Very nice and lovely!! What if your wood is larger than tie strap?? TY
Beautiful!! Thank you for sharing. I would love to see a video of a 90 degree arch that has little greenery and more solid wood flowers. My wedding is in November and I’m going to try to do an all Sola Flower Wedding. :)
Love the tutorial! Was wondering, why would we need the floral mesh for the brick/block? Thanks!
It makes it a bit easier to hang depending on how you are using the arch piece
Thanks! I was going to ask the same question.
What if I’m using real flowers? Should I use the wet floral foam then? How early should I make the arrangement? The night before, morning of?
Hi! I work primarily with wood flowers. I am sure there is a better tutorial out there on how to make a fresh flower arch. I would hate to give you bad advice!
Hi for a first timer, using artificial flowers and leaves, is Pool noodle better or dry florist foam for the arch?
It would be a personal preference as well as how it is being installed. I have used both I still like the florist foam a bit more but the cost of a pool noodle cant be beat!
Very nice! I didn’t quite decipher if all the greens and flowers used were artificial... or whether some were live and others artificial (check through the comments and it doesn’t look like anyone else has asked yet)
These were all artificial greenery and the flowers are wood flowers
This is gorgeous. I just found you today & have Subscribed & requested to Join your FB Group. I love your work!
Thanks so much 😊
How much greenery did you use? I want to make a couple for my wedding
Beautiful!
Simply beautiful 😍❤
Super Hermoso
Fantastic tutorial! Doing one for my brothers wedding and this was so helpful! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
What happens if I use just the foam block with out the wire cage around it? Is that ok?
Hi, love your products but I live on South Coast of England. do you sell abroad?
Thank You!
This has been soooo helpful! I’m doing my first wedding arch in a few weeks and I was stuck on how to even begin. Thanks so much for all the tips. You’ve given me direction and inspiration!
oh yay! I am so glad you found it helpful!!!
Would you glue the stems on the foam if it’s going to be used for an outdoor wedding?
I typically dont but you can if you prefer.
Do you have any tutorial doing fresh floral arch wedding?
We only focus on wood flowers so I dont have any fresh flower tutorials besides one where I mixed fresh greenery with the wood flowers in a bouquet.
Hi what greenery will go with carnations in st Patrick day centerpieces
Wondering how an arrangement for sweetheart table on the hanging down left corner
So beautiful
Thank you so much
Love the arrangement! Would you recommend building the arrangement before attaching it to the arch or after?
You can absolutely build the arrangement before attaching it to the arch
Wow this is Beautiful!
Do you think this could work on my front door with scotch guard spray to protect from the weather?
How many flowers did you use?
Thanks so much for the tutorial! Would you have advice on getting it onto a stone doorway (front of a church) thanks x
I dont have a good suggestion I would probably chat with the church first they may have suggestions or things that they allow and dont allow
What is the purpose of wrapping the foam with the floral wire? If I didn’t use floral wire could this still turn out or would it fall apart?
It gives it a bit more stability and an easier way to hang the finished piece
Hi! I love this arch decor. What would you estimate as the total cost for this?
How would you make a dusty rose color for your sola wood flowers I’ve been having the hardest time 😫😫
Are you using dye or paint ? I found some cheap paint from Walmart and Joanne fabrics and just diluted with some water and glycerin . They had a wide variety of paint .. I didn’t find one called dusty rose but I think achieved a similar color mixing nude pinks /mauve together
Great
I love this! What size floral foam block did you use?
7.8" x 3.4" x 2.6"
Could u tell me if I was making it twice as big would I use 2 blocks of oasis
yeah you can add as many floral bricks as you need. We had a customer make a six foot arch and I believe she used 4 or 6 bricks total
What is the purpose of the chicken wire? Can you not do without it?
It helps with the hanging of the piece but you I am sure could hang it another way and not use the chicken wire
This is beautiful! I definitely had a fear about making arch decor too! I just made mine a few days ago for my wedding this year although now I think I need to add a few more elements 😂 thanks as always for your tutorials!!
Glad I wasnt the only one to fear the arch!
How much would you charge to make that floral design using lavender flowers for arch.
Where can the chicken wire be purchased.
The chicken wire you can find at any home improvement or hardware store
How much did it cost
Can't you use greenery from yard?
Probably I would suggest using a fresh floral foam block instead of the dry floral foam I used
Your videos are so detailed, I love it! Do you have a rough idea how to calculate how much greenery and flowers you will need for DIY arrangements? Trying to work out cost :)
Love it
I'm doing all the flowers for my son's wedding. I've been watching multiple videos and I am just questioning what is the purpose of the floral wire? I have seen many videos where people don't use floral wire. There are many people who don't use it. So I'm just questioning why use it at all.
Would you recommend using glue?
I dont normally add glue to the end of the stem going into the floral foam but you can if you want for some extra stability
Is there a way to get an already made one?
We dont ever want to be in competition with many of our customers that are wood flower artists so we dont offer finished pieces
About how many ficus branches did you use?
I think it was 4 or 5 full stems cut up to make the base of the piece.
Where could I get the floral wire? And thanks so much for the helpful video!
We do carry a few options on our website www.ohyourelovely.com
I want to do something like this for my macrame backdrops but I don’t know How do you attach it? How do you attach to the wall?
I did a faux macrame piece this might inspire you to how I added the flowers...... ruclips.net/video/CkYSB6g6q0c/видео.html
Not me here wondering how you got the 90° angle cuz you didn’t show back while doing it 😅
Thank you for this!! I'm so excited to try to make one!
Have fun!
Is this greenery is plastic ? Or is it original greenery?
The greenery used in this is artificial.
