ML smile is addictive. So versatile actor. I also love this series. I'm an archaeologist, and to me this is by far the most well researched script of any Chinese work. The storyline and the characters are so beautiful portrayed by the casts. The message this work carries is so many. Intangible heritage preservation, and tourism, Living in the moment, enjoy life in the simplest thing. The characters are never boring or lousy and makes things so interesting to watch. Doing something in Yunnan province is also something I'm excited to watch. I have always wanted to visit this place as in our history we are said to hv migrated from Yunnan region. Now after watching this, am anxious to visit asap. Thank you all the casts and the crew for such a thrilling and touching work. One of the best Chinese work from entertainment industry 🖤🖤🖤
I think the actor they have for the ML is perfect for the part. He's handsome but he looks like someone who has worked outdoors. That makes the character more believable and relatable IMO.
