I would like to see if people can get full circle with this. As in, build deploy and actually have a useable product that people will pay money for. That said this will definitely be to a software developer what a calculator is to an accountant.
those are different stages and each one has his own learning curves but it will get to a point very soon that this will be possible with just 1 prompt and everyone will be deploying their own apps ont he internet... 99% of them will fail, either because they don't have a solid marketing strategy and support team or just because the product sucks.
True... however, that'll mean we don't have to fully learn programming. Just learn the basics, and we're all good. However there may be cases where expertise is needed and maybe people who've carved a niche for themselves.
Thank you Corbin. I am a total rookie and a 100% None-Full-Stack Developer. The only thing I develop are ideas. If you can make more beginner tutotorials for none-coding guys, that would be amazing. By the way: Once you have your tool, like the one you showed in that video, how do you bring the code to the webserver of your hosting company? Thx a bunch and keep rocking!
Good evening, great, now you have a new subscriber, my question is these codes generated with AI are very risky, or what is the process to make them safe to monetize it?
There is no trial feature. You have to purchase it's ai agent for $20 a month. I have already bought it and applied for refund the very same day. Its ai agent is not as powerful as openai or Claude ai.
Well, that doesn't convince me at all. In addition, you always have the feeling that you have to deal with code written by someone else... As of now, no code agent has really convinced me. and then there's the question of how much it all costs... maybe useful for enterprise level things where you can save on employees, but not for small devs
In your opinion what essentials does it lack? What would you like to see added later? How much are you willing to pay? Would you prefer to pay monthly, per token, or per day/time?
Does that mean no more Microsoft vs code? Eventually? 2. 6:10 yeah I think you should make another covering that part, even better if you make something then launch it with all the methods to see which is price cost efficient, 3. 6:22 cover also which way would lead to android and or iOS launch
Non tech people would stilll never use these AI editors man they can’t resist coding environments they needs us devs all the time because AI is not creative and reliable systems.
Who is going to learn the generated crappy code. Why not people understand software building is an iterative process that needs testing, changes and maintenance. These tools were already there from 20 years ago but not successful.
This was the workflow i imagined that i was looking forward to! And it’s only gonna get better!!
Early morining and i am watching this, amzing what replit does, i like how you explain it also. Thank you

Thanks bro. Keep up the good work.

Prompt: "I would like to build an app like replit that can create apps using AI"
Good content, lemme watch now the comparisons! with other AIs.
Can you point it to say a website created with Wordpress and then tell it what to change , create ??
This is awesome
love the content, does anyone have the link to the 30 min video Corbin is referring to for cost effective app deployment?

Thanks! Check out this video; it shows you how to deploy this to a live website link:

Great vid 👍 replit looks pretty cool 👍 yes please do a deploy vid 👍
Good evening, great, now you have a new subscriber, my question is these codes generated with AI are very risky, or what is the process to make them safe to monetize it?
Great video! Thanks!
which LLM does it use? have they disclosed it?
Mostly Claude 3.5, but they use several, each for different tasks, as well as some custom tuned agents they created internally
Do I need a plan to try out AI features? Is there a trial of some sort for AI features such as agents?
There is no trial feature. You have to purchase it's ai agent for $20 a month. I have already bought it and applied for refund the very same day. Its ai agent is not as powerful as openai or Claude ai.

25$ per month
It isn’t even possible to create a simple login for me, so disappointing
do you have to subscribe for fee to use it?
Does that mean no more Microsoft vs code? Eventually? 2. 6:10 yeah I think you should make another covering that part, even better if you make something then launch it with all the methods to see which is price cost efficient, 3. 6:22 cover also which way would lead to android and or iOS launch
Who's here after the MFM episode?
Can this work with something amd github like mongodb atlas
So you made it seem like you should do neither, that you have an alternative solution. which is ?
Brother, deploying is the hard part not prompting.
There is a lot of bugs, no rollbacks, has great opportunities, but, for now, just tests.
Absolutely insane.
04:16: Not even replit can center a div.
Replit can only write Python code. Of course, Flask isn’t bad, but this needs to be added. 😂
if everyone can make their own applications, why would anyone buy one?
Everybody can make their own food clothes lots of other stuff as well so why do they buy it?
@@jarad4621did you seriously think that was a good comparison?😂
Non tech people would stilll never use these AI editors man they can’t resist coding environments they needs us devs all the time because AI is not creative and reliable systems.
Because not everybody can
Not everyone is interested in creating. They just wanna buy.

i think the best IDE is the one that give you more possibilites and less repetitive work, i really wanna you teach us what is the best IDE
Have you tried IDX?
Project IDX from Google is free VSCode + Gemini AI
Cs first year scares me
replit or cursor
Both, replit to start the idea and ssh over to cursor to refine
@@tnt1887 Yeah I saw that both can work together.
