I think pre-wetting the Ketch board is a good practice and helps the fish not flop so quickly- I don't know if a dry board irritates the fish or not-I just think it is a good practice. We've all been where you were with unruly fish-I fish that spot you were in often when I fish Truman.
Funny thing is I am usually really good about that. A friend pointed out to me right after I uploaded this video that I didn’t wet it. He said you’d jump off that dry hot board too. Until he said it I didn’t even realize I hadn’t done it. I started feeling bad for the fish instead of being mad at it.
