This is WHEN you water your plants !!

WHEN to water my plants? This is a question that I get super frequently so let me tell you what I’ve learned: there are THREE types of plants when it comes to watering:
1️⃣ like the soil to be completely dry before we water again - before you water, make sure to check the soil with your finger or with a wooden stick so you know that it has dried out.
2️⃣ like the soil to be partially dry before we water again - most tropical plants we have at home. So water theme the soil is drying out but not completely dry.
3️⃣ like the soil to be moist (but not wet⚠️) at all times - like calatheas, ferns, and alocasias. These plants need more humidity around them in general.

Hi! Great question. As long as it does not get completely dry and that it is working for your plant this way, it should be okay. Is it humid where you live or is the air kind of dry?

@@PlantsandLucia it's pretty humid here, (I've got messy curly hair ahah and that's fun) but like this morning I noticed a new leaf that's unfurling which already has a browning tip, which was concerning. Maybe I need to change it up. Other leaves are luscious and green as per usual though. Thanks for your time and support! Xx
