My sister and I met you at the LA pop up event! I was trying to buy the paddington weeks and yes/no pencil board. I didn’t even realize I followed your RUclips channel when we met. You were so sweet. Love this haul. By the way, I’ve been using the hollyhocks cover with no coc for a few weeks and I throw my cousin in my bag and don’t baby it and it’s in really good condition, the fabric is really durable. (It’s also so soft you kind of don’t want to cover it up ❤) Hope that helps. Xx

I would love if the guide came in English or both English/Japanese. I have bought 4 guides in the past and put it in my cart this year, than took it back out. I also did not purchase it last year, I just feel I missing out so much info with it all in Japanese.! I hope I receive one of the beginners guides, would love to share that with my granddaughter.! I have the hollyhocks cover in A6 from last year and I’m using it for my new blanket notebook from this release. I have had my cover on cover on all year and it works perfectly ❤
You should sticker up the clear cover. That way you can keep black cover and stickers it up

Thank you for making my first pop up experience so great. 2025 will be my second planner life year. I got the drawer pouches and covers and Hon that I wanted. Yay! Ordering was crazy, as you know. Took me nearly 5 hours to order.. in the end i got the original prices. Cool. Love this vid.

I too wanted both of those designs on the cover on covers, but never got them. I hope to get another black gingham Hon. The only cover I have is Little Gifts. I like your idea of having seasonal cover changes. I love all of the 2025 Kitagishi covers, but am thinking variety is the spice of life!

It would be nice if the guide has both Japanese and English in it, like that one Hobonichi pamphlet that had both (was it 2023 or 2024?) and was included with the planner. That'll make it more appealing to buy it for me.

Your freebie notebook matches with the gingham. I ordered the same pattern as well but in A6, last minute. That leather cover is amazing!
The box I got last year I have used all year to keep my little keepsakes in for the year. I plan on doing the same with this box. I didn't get Hobonichi until 2023 and for 2023 I put everything in the little drawstring bag we got with our order.
I just got the "taut" brown leather A5 from JetPens and I LOVE IT. With the Hobo website issues, I waited to order the black gingham Hon and now I'm still waiting on it, so seeing your video made me happy and also drove me crazy with envy! I even have the brownie plaid cover from last year. Kudos on your taste! 🙂 You'll have to post a follow up vid on the Stappo mini and how you like & use it. I have one of those on the way, too!

I wanted to get the taut cover, but how will you keep it closed since it has no butterfly stopper or TN band? If you put a band around it, it will wear and patina a line around it. Curious what you think for keeping it closed?
i’m really conflicted on whether i want a cousin or the avec.. is it hard to write in the cousin after a while? that’s a concern of mine 😅
