Wow great video! Really like the setup you've got with all the cartoony stickers on the machine. Reminds me of how people decorate their laptops. Haven't also thought of trying espresso beans through a filter option to get a purer taste of the coffee and sus out anything from the extraction process.
Thanks! In a cafe setting I’d usually cup all the coffees on the menu once a week, really good to keep your palate going strong. Definitely worth doing at home every so often.
Sounds like the motor may have been run down? I sent my Vario in for repairs through Baratza in January and they did an amazing job with it. Had some trouble with the burrs locking up when grinding very very fine.
Someday! I want to get the burrs aligned and get a few more years out of it. The grind adjustment is my only real complaint with the Vario, but its still okay for the amount I use it. Keeping an eye on what Malkonig does with their home line.
nice vid!! really cool to see how your video style is developing
Thank you!
