Glory to God that he has blessed the church with this holy preacher and intercessor, whom it is right to call the golden-mouthed. Pray for us Saint John, that we would understand, love, and live by the divine wisdom which God cultivated in your heart and which shines forth in your words. We pray in the name of our Father, God of all visible and invisible creation, and of the Son Jesus Christ, our common Lord, saviour, and most faithful bridegroom, and of the Holy Ghost, the wellspring of our being. Amen.
Everything he said all those years ago is 100 percent exactly what I need today. I am stunned at how precise his words are describing situations that are exactly the same today.
