I just want to say that the little pink detail on the underside of the JP foil board with the NP sails looks amazing.

One of my best memories was in Limfjorden (Denmark), totally overpowered because I was on a budget, and could hardly go up against the wind. It was totally extreme and I was having a blast up until a thunderstorm started right above me. I immediately went into the water and hid below my rig until it was over. I looked like the Michelin-man (suit full of water) when I got out of the water. This video really reminds me of that day.
Beautiful storm it was and horrifying at once. Derigging on the open sea is something we rarely practice. It could be a sub-topic of an upcoming video...

Hi Nico, great Idea to go from Malta to Sicily. I just left Sicilia last Saturday. We have eben close to a good spot at the south-west-coast, called Torre die Gaffe. If you retry the crossing, maybe I can you some hints for good Arancini If you arrive there. Good luck.

Been there several times and it is such a nice country and also very good for windsurfing.
I learned windsurfing there at the Melliehabay at the beach side.

Nice Video and Story Nico. Gives a good insight on how beautiful Malta is. I just think that if they really wanted to do this crossing they just should have used a "Strand by" period and then just go when conditions are suitable. My friend Begalli did the crossing from Sicily to Malta, and he waited for several weeks to get the ideal conditions!! Anyway looks like you had a fun time!!

Nico, just discovered your channel and I'm loving it! Sailed dinghy boats my whole life since I was 7, (I'm 37 now), but new to windsurfing this past year. Do you have any advice for older new to windsurfing sailors? I am loving it, but I'm not 20 anymore and don't want to get hurt. Maybe a video about preventing injuries?
