Yes Patricia…. I promise! We have just been so busy (which is not a bad thing). I have some ship tours and such that need to be done before that but I will definitely try to prioritize Iceland! We actually spent a couple days there and had a lot of fun. Thanks for watching and just FYI, our Alaska vlogs are coming out this week and next. 😁
This is cruise is on my bucket list. Looks like you guys had a cold boat ride but I’m sure it was totally worth it. You got some breathtaking shots! Love the drone footage!
It was cold, lol, but we made the right choice to do that first because the mountains were engulfed in clouds in the morning. They cleared just as we went up! Thanks for watching. 😀🐸
First of all...Steph bundled up on that RIB 🤣😆😂 You all got extremely fortunate that your trip to Dalsnibba Mountains was in the afternoon. While you were racing around the Fjord in the RIB with the overcast skies, I was on top of that mountain trying to look through the clouds. Thanks for showing me what I missed...LOL Great video!
I just booked the two tours you did in Geiranger Norway, but I don't see any other videos of your continuation of Norway/Iceland. What do you recommend for Alesund, and then Akureyri and Isfjordur, Iceland? Please help! Thanks so much.
Hey Charlotte! We unfortunately haven’t finished the vlog series yet…. In Akureyri we did some whale watching that wasn’t that great-not sure if we will have a vlog for that. Isfjordur was scrapped from our itinerary before we sailed, but when we were doing research we didn’t see anything that looked worth the money, so our plan was to walk the town and hike up the hill a bit there for some nice views of the ship. Alesund we took a tour and I’m editing that (among other things) right now…. In Iceland we did an awesome tour that included Geysers, Waterfalls and the Blue Lagoon. Unfortunately, I think many of the Blue Lagoon tours have been scrapped or altered due to the volcanic activity. Please shoot me an email to thecruiseworld@gmail.com and reference this conversation and I will find the tour names for you, and let you know when I get the other videos done.
This looks amazing! We are going in July and I was wondering, do you remember if the ship arrived on time? And how long it took from arriving to letting people off? We are scheduled to arrive at 11 am, and I booked a bus tour that leaves right off the port at 11:45 am. Is that cutting it too close?
I don’t recall any issues with our port times during this sailing other than Amsterdam which was due to wind issues passing through the locks. The arrival times posted are typically the expected time for guests to disembark so they arrive around an hour or so before that. I’m assuming since you’re concerned that you did not book this with the cruise line, but If the bus is picking you up at the port they will know the ship is having issues and may still wait. You are going to LOVE this port and be sure to get a good view of the arrival through the fjord as it is very beautiful. Have fun and keep us posted on your experience!
Have you sailed the Norwegian Fjords yet?
Yes, across the sky :))
This was one of the most beautiful places we've ever visited! I would go back in a heartbeat!
Ditto to that!
I have really enjoyed watching this itinerary on the Prima. Any chance you will show us what you did in Iceland?

It was chilly, yes, but it worked out for the best because some people we know went on the mountain early and it was all cloud covered!
another great cruise for austins graduation..mark you did a great job
Yes it was! We had a great time for sure!
This is great!! We are researching Norway now for 2025. Thanks for sharing!!
Our pleasure! If you have any questions from our itinerary, let us know!
So beautiful! What are you filming with?
In this video we used a 360 cam for some of the action shots, as well as a GoPro 10 and a Nikon Z6II. Thanks for watching.
Looks like an incredible trip. You look cold on the raft. Nice Drone footage. 🐸

You got that right! You probably saw the clouds right when we got up there--then they cleared quick! We did get lucky!
What time of the year did you go?
This was last August.

@@thecruiseworld Thank you so much for your detailed comment! I really appreciate it, and I'm really looking forward to it!
Beautiful! The music didn't match the beautiful scenery.
It’s tough finding good music nowadays…. Too many copyright issues…. But I will try to improve. 😃. Thanks for watching.
@@thecruiseworldexactly! We understand! All money money hunters! Never enough
music sucks....
Sorry you feel that way-but you can’t deny the sights are beautiful!
Wont argue there. Beautiful sights. Truly.@@thecruiseworld
