The perfect selection of instruments, the elaborated and careful tone of the songs, even the voice, is harmonic is that well made that if you remove Yharon or this one, the voice, it feels empty, it doesnt happen with a lot of songs. DM Dokuro is the Beethoven of this era, the Mozart and im 100% sure that in the next centuries, he will be remembered. Thats the level of DM Dokuro, and the community didnt understood the luck they had. What about the songs after the breakdown? You can feel his mental state. This song is the punishment, it would have been better that anything before, but it rest here. Unfinished, lost in time.

Recently found out about DM Dokuro and his incredible music, so I didn’t witness the horrors of toxicity first-hand. All I can say is man. Some of the best music I’ve heard in awhile in that soundtrack, where even the scrapped songs sound incredible. It’s inspiring, especially for someone who’s still a beginner at making music. I truly hope more music like this is made, and maybe even Dokuro healing from the past and taking the big spotlight again.
I'll say it: Dok is NOT coming back to Calamity or Terraria in any way. His new music is pretty good, but his Calamity OST is going to enjoyed and memorable for years to come.

His new stuff is incredible, and if he sticks with making solo stuff for the rest of his musical years then I am not complaining in the slightest. A tyrant for all intents and purposes still sits at the top, but their world has come apart. Those who defended them are gone. The ones who kept it alive are no longer there. Now a tyrant sits alone amidst the ashes. Read up on what happened to Calamity at the same time as, and after Dokuro left. It wasn’t just the community that drove him away.
What a tragedy... One can only hope we get a continuation someday, however unlikely that may be. DM Dokuro deserved better than the treatment he received, it's a shame he'll never get the apology he deserves. Maybe the new musicians could finish the song, but at this point, i would take any new calamity content...
The long forgotten and unfinished successor to SBC, this track is by far the most mysterious. What are the full lyrics? What would the symphony be? Who is the inner-voice inside of Yharim's head? And despite DM Dokoru's issues with the Calamity Mod and such, why was this song never finished? These questions may never be answered, considering Dokoru's bad memories of the community for the Calamity mod. Despite that, this theme has always resonated amongst me. If DM Dokoru, how very, very unlikely, would to ever complete Tyrant, I would listen to it in a heartbeat. And if not him, then someone who can give it service like PinpinNeon or even CDMusic. Either way, thank you for this extended version of one of my favorite tracks on the OST.

The problem was actually the opposite. People loved it too much. Adoration became impatience, then desperation, and then rage. Combined with all the drama behind the scenes with the Calamity staff, it was too much.
Ngl it would be legendary if he came back and finished this one song, but i respect him for not finishing it. You shouldnt be forced to do anything although i do truly love his music. The instrumentals. I love his use of bells giving his songs a almost holy sound unlike any other gaming soundtrack. During stained brutal calamity when it cuts away yo the choir near the end but in the background the base guitar comes in sounding amazing. In infection also hear the end it jumps down multiple octives then rising upwards. Universal colapse and the intro to it with the amazing harp. I think calamity in a way brought out the best of DM dokuro composing abilities. It was lightning in a bottle with his misic and the community decided to shatter the bottle. He has god given talent

The most obvious answer is that its the player mocking Yharim for failing to stop them, but the mod goes to great lengths the emphasize that the player character is an uncaring, unfeeling force of nature that simply wants to destroy, and I'm not sure these lyrics really represent that. Personally I like to think they come from Calamitas, who survives her fight with the Terrarian and is now tormenting Yharim with all the deaths he could have prevented if he hadn't been such an insane coward. I knew i had a reason to hate people, the idiots of the community had 1 job and that was to keep all of their mouths shut and just enjoy the music and they failed at that (probably several times) i missed the toxicity by a few years due to me getting into terraria not even 6 months ago and it really hurts considering dokuros calamity pieces are one of, if not the best video game ost ive ever heard and i wish there was a way to get him back i really do, why cant we have nice things anymore man 😔
Calamity has gotten much better since his departure, but development has started to slow. Since those 22 developers (understandably) quit, the planned content has dramatically reduced. I think his music is why calamity has remained so popular, and what's kept developers interested in the mod. The new composers have made some good songs, but I think they'd agree Dokuro's were on another level. I wonder if there'll be a "new Dokuro" who will revitalize calamity.
I only just played it the first time this year, and its kinda dawned on me that theres a very real chance that calamity is never *finished*. Like, at all. It really sucks, since its seriously one of the best gaming experiences i've had

Calamity has gotten much better since his departure, but development has started to slow. Since those 22 developers (understandably) quit, the planned content has dramatically reduced. I think his music is why calamity has remained so popular, and what's kept developers interested in the mod.
The new composers have made some good songs, but I think they'd agree Dokuro's were on another level.
I wonder if there'll be a "new Dokuro" who will revitalize calamity.
I only just played it the first time this year, and its kinda dawned on me that theres a very real chance that calamity is never *finished*. Like, at all. It really sucks, since its seriously one of the best gaming experiences i've had
