Very cool Zac! I played once at a course at Waikoloa which is on the west side of the big island of Hawaii. The course was also cut out of a black lava field. I can say from personal experience that nothing rips up the cover of a golf quicker than hitting a into a lava field! It totally shreds the cover!

As a member of this great course, I would have liked you to replace the divots you took. It is hard enough to get golfers to do that and we don't need popular "youtubers" like you to so blatantly ignore normal golf etiquette in their videos.
@ZacRadford aha good to know, and sorry for the misunderstanding. It would, however, be good to get the assistance from influencer like you in educating golfers in taking good care of the course, maybe show one divot replecement and/or repair one pitch mark per round/video 😉
