    I had the good fortune to study with great masters Gary Karr and Franco Petracchi ... but Ludwig Streicher, will remain one of the giants in the history of bass
    I wish I had been his pupil.

    No doubt he was really important to the double bass history... However his version of this piece is almost a new composition 😂 crazy cuts for no apparent reason, notes that aren't even close to the original piece....
    I also understand that in the time people didn't really care about those "details"... Howsoever Mr Streicher did a really great contribution to the evolution of the double bass Technik
