I see some Kotlin Android fanboys here who are not ready to move to a better development platform. And seriously, avoiding the native components is a huge advantage, not a disadvantage. No real arguments have been made as to why native components should be used. Because of the Ripple animation etc.? What user cares about that...?
The whole reason why we use "native components" on mobile devices, is performance. If performance is not a concern for a business, just build web apps.
