BTW in regards to reacting to 1989, I think because Speak Now TV was so long, I felt like I had no energy or daylight left by the vaults, and don't want to be that way for this album! Maybe I'll react to those first and can use all my excitement and light then, and react to the album the next day

I would in no way shape or form be annoyed or angry or disappointed if you only did the vault tracks. It is a big job editing that much content- and probably stressful and heartbreaking deciding what to keep in and what to cut. But I would love if you did reacting to vault tracks and then listen to the OG songs in your own time and do like a "thoughts" segment on just how you feel💙
As someone who was a big Swiftie when 1989 came out (mean was the song that made me a Swiftie), but didn't have Swiftie friends or social media where I could connect with other Swifties (and my English wasn't great back then): I would LOVE an everything you need to know about 1989 video!! Yes!! I’ve been listening to Taylor since her debut album, but I was never really involved with the fan community until recently and had no idea how much lore I was missing lol. It’s really cool gaining some context and being able to put things together and understand certain things in the music more deeply. I loved the everything you need to know about speak now video!

I think that rep should be next, then debut. It would be such a full circle moment to end where she started, and claim her name. She's been playing a lot of rep surprise songs, especially after a 1989 guitar song, so she could be hinting that it's after 1989.

It didn’t feel like the Speak Now TV era was very short because she hinted at it for the entirety of the Midnights era.
I'm thinking Reputation will be next (which is the one I'm most excited for, it's my Speak Now), and Debut will be last because it makes sense that the last thing she'd reclaim is her own name. That to me encompasses everything she's done with these rerecordings.
Edit: Also, because it was the beginning, and it being last would be fitting.

Was there for the concert on 8/9 and it was exhilarating to see her come out with more and more blue outfits, the screams when she came out in her blue Folklore dress were so wild. And then the announcement itself and her surprise songs. Chefs kiss. So fun, won't forget it.

Now everyone seems to think that Rep TV is next but I actually don't think that would make sense. Debut has by far the smallest fanbase and fewest hits, so I don't think she'd leave it for last. She's a business lady and she wants this project to end with a bang. I think Rep TV would be a much better closer, especially with its themes of vendetta and independence. My guess is that Debut TV is next.
EDIT: Additional guess: Reputation release anniversary is on November 10, so I think the November 2024 North American dates will be the only ones post Rep RV release. She'll announce Debut TV in spring, put it out in the summer and then announce Rep TV and release it on November 10. I'll come back here in a year and a half and see if I got it right.

PLEASE do an "All You Need To Know: 1989 Taylor's Version" video! As a newer Swiftie I don't know everything that was happening around the 1989 era and what each song is about/was inspired by. The "All You Need To Know: Speak Now Taylor's Version" video was so helpful, I would love another one for 1989 TV. And I personally am fine with you only reacting to the vault tracks. I can't even imagine spending as much time as you did editing one video for the Speak Now TV reaction. It's also your life and if there are people who want you to react to the whole album you should still do what you want.

Ok also, the first song she performed for surprise songs is Tim McGraw, the last song she performed was New Year’s Day. The first and last songs that were stolen from her. in Mexico the first day of international dates she performed I forgot that you existed (the first song she owned) her mind I cannot. Record all of the reactions, but you could just edit the vault ones during release week. And then you can put out a video with the other reactions a month later or so. Honestly, I would love you to record and release a full reaction to 1989 tv as it’s so fun and interesting to see your thoughts and the parallels that you notice among all the songs (and the differences in the vocals between the old versions and the new ones) which as a new swiftie (as in I only became a fan in the midnights era) I tend to miss and I loved watching you react to all of SNTV!! However, IK that at the end of the day it’s your channel and you should do what you want!! Although what you could do is just give us the album reaction later possibly, so like instead of getting it a few days after the release, you could release it a few weeks afterwards instead. BUT, it’s your channel so you should do what you want to do with it!!!

Having watched videos of the concert, I even saw one from outside the stadium, the change in energy/volume when Taylor came out in the blue 1989 outfit was truly something special. I wish I could’ve been there to experience it

1. Def yes to the deep dive pre-album!
2. Your channel, your rules, record and post whatever you want. THAT being said, one thing I did notice from SNTV was that those that only did vaults AND started with it it seemed a little more jumbled…I think hearing all of SNTV first before the vaults and the musical cohesiveness plus getting in the mood helped a ton, so idc what you record and if it’s just the vault, but my recommendation is to still listen to the others first before the reaction to the vaults, to get back in that mindset and the vibes of the album
3. Did you see that deleted Max story about the vaults? I wasn’t online that day so idk for myself if it was real or photoshopped, but 👀
Ally, your album reaction vids are some of my fav youtube videos of all time. With that being said, I want you to know that you should do what is best for YOU! If you want to take time to enjoy the album and not strain your health editing then you should do that! Put yourself first! I was so ready for this announcement!! I set my alarm at 1:25 AM because I was not going to miss ANYTHING 😂 I was losing it after the blue folklore dress and hearing that she had a what color speak now dress? BLUE ahh💙 I was shaky just waiting!! the deep dive into the history speak now really helped me as a "newish" (i was a child when she first recorded these albums so I don't remember the era) fan really helped me relate and attach onto the album so if you are up for it i would love to see a similar type video!
Ah so happy to be early I must admit 1989 was my least favourite album as I listened to it in a dark place in my life when pretending to be happy but I revisited it for the re release and it’s growing on me! Also that was the album that when it came out started my Taylor addiction haha
This was me. When 1989 first cane out, I was in a really dark place and absolutely hated it. I couldn’t believe the woman who wrote some of the most lyrically complex songs on RED would follow it up by writing, whar I thought, was basic pop trash like Shake It Off. It took me a couple years, but I finally was able to see 1989 for the decade defining masterpiece that it is

And after learning about Taylor was going through at that point the whole album felt fake to me for a while and I couldn’t bare listen to it also my favourite songs tend to be slower and more melancholy and there is less of that on 1989. Also it’s very mainstream pop and felt like not one for the fans if that makes sence many of her best songs loved by SwiftIes didn’t get the love of the critics that they deserved. And this album almost felt like just trying to please what she thought people wanted. but now I listen to it on a deeper level and I can relate to how she felt so I’m very excited for October.

Regarding the reaction video - I highly encourage and support you to do what's best for you! A potential solution may be to do two parts: release the vault reaction as soon as you can / want to and then you can relax and take your time with the rest of the video. Even if it's a month later, I'll still eagerly watch it hahahah. But I'm honestly just super grateful for the vault reaction!
I would record your entire reaction JUST IN CASE you had a fun, notable reaction but you don't necessarily have to edit it and release. Just good to have on film for whatever reason and you can use the footage however you want of course.
6:26 I Saw a video someone took of the concert and after Taylor said “in the 8th month”, someone on the floor shouted “ON THE 9TH DAY” and that’s why Taylor said “On the 9th day” like she did, she was copying/parroting the way he said it 🥹 this woman, I love her sm
Also I heard of this theory of when the last two re records will be released because there is 112 days between the start of the tour and SNTV release. There is 112 days between being SNTV release and 1989 release, and when she lost her albums, she lost 112 songs…
so 112 days after October 27 is the 16th of February and 112 days after that is the 7th of June and on the first night of the Mexico tour, she sang IFTYE and Sweet nothing as the surprise songs, tracks 1 and 12, 112. 😮

I saw something say that she started the U.S tour with the first stolen song (Tim McGraw I believe) and ended it with the last one (New Years Day) and idk why but it made me tear up a little,
I’ve always felt that the last re-record would be debut. Never had any idea about any of the others but ever since fearless tv was announced I felt that debut would be last.
I still can't believe I was there omg. (a shout out to my mom, who surprised me with tickets for the best night ever💙) If I really had to pick I would say 1989 is my fav album and I still can't believe I heard her announce it live 😭 I literally cried. As a newer fan I like to hear older swifties' reaction to the rerecords, but what you could do is record your reaction to the whole thing and put out the vault reaction as early as you usually would and then you can edit and put out the rest of the reaction as late as you want.

Yes! Please do an "Everything you need to know about 1989"! I've been a swiftie forever... but I had a lot going on in my life during the 1989 era and I kinda missed it... Since the announcement of vault tracks on the rerecords I've thought Reputations vault would be the largest. I read a quote from her bro in an article & he was quoted saying that he liked the album but he was disappointed cuz his favorite songs she'd ever recorded were recorded for Reputation and they all had been cut. 😄 I read it back in 2019 and it really stuck with me. For some reason Ever since I can't help but wonder about them when I think about Rep. So hopefully we get his favs now. 🤞🏼

i was thinking, one thing you could do if you want to record your reaction to all 1989 songs is first edit and upload the vault songs and then edit the rest with more time and no rush to put it up right after it comes out. Just an idea, will love to watch whatever way you find better

I think one of the reason that 1989 Taylo'rs version only has 5 vault songs is because she already has 1of them out it the open ! for a year now (witch is one of my favorites ) the song is called this love (taylor's version )

My personal vote - record your reaction to every song, but only include the most insane moments from the original album, rather than your reaction to every song.
You don't need to rush with the reaction video! Take your time and enjoy the release -- that's what's most important. LOVE U ALLY 💗
Starting off by saying THANK YOU FOR POSTING!! ik a ton of work goes into it. now to the reason of this comment lol. i think you should maybe just post your first time reaction to the vault tracks as soon as you can get it edited and put out, but ALSO sometime when you’ve had time to sit with the album you can do a little recap of the og songs (but the new versions) and tell us your thoughts and favorites along with something else like a ranking of the album or anything else fun you can think of. but take your time quality content and your mental health/ well-being comes first. ALSO WOULD LOVE AN “All about 1989” video!!!

I was waiting for your video reaction of this TV announcement and it didn't disappoint (as always)!! This is the re-recording that I'm the most scared and anxious about. While 1989 is one of my favorites it's also the one with a devastating meaning for me. I haven't fully listened to it in years. It's the soundtrack of the most brutal breakup and depression of my life and this TV is coming out on my ex's birth day. So this is breaking me all over again 🥲

I think that Max Martin will be on at least some of these tracks. I think that is (one of the reasons) why it took so long to be released and Max posted something cheeky on his insta stories that that refers to this.
