Your face when Scott started singing is pretty much the epitome of how people react HAHA! Also, Mitch being your favorite really tickles me, because he's my favorite too! I think you'll be ready for the experience that "Aha! live in Singapore" is. It'll blow your mind in regards to Mitch's voice.
Isn't this a stunning version of Hallelujah? This video was filmed at the Coyote Dry Lake, near Barstow, in the Californian Mojave Desert. No cinematographer is credited, but the Creative Director for the album, A Pentatonix Christmas, is Erwin Gorostiza. I love your Pentatonix reactions. Keep them coming!
That was great. Watching you react to Pentatonix is like watching them for the first time all over again. I’m thoroughly enjoying it. If you want songs that highlight Mitch’s voice, try Bohemian Rhapsody or Aha as suggested by others. For Kirstie, try Say Something or Disney Love Medley with Voctave. For Scott, try one of the live performances of Misbehavin’ or Cracked. The best quality are their live performances of those two songs on the Today Show. A fun video is their cover of Cheerleader.
Hi Natalie. Simply. Thank you for your heartfelt reaction. The hardest thing to do as a Pentatonix reactor is to find "words". The longer you do this, the harder it is to as you say, "find adjectives" to describe your musical experience. But, therein lies the key to success. Words. - Bill
I think many have already said to you that you will have an incredible mind blowing time over the coming months listening to the many different genres of music that they sing. At some time you will want to see what that can do live - I would suggest that you will need to be ready for something amazing... no really amazing and first watch Aha at the Singapore star vista. It was recorded on a fan cam but don't let that put you off. You said Mitch is your favourite - well get ready to have your emotions and mind truly blown.
I love your reactions!! In case you were wondering, Scott takes over for Avi on bass when Avi has the lead, so if you ever hear that occur know that they didn't just layer two Avis (bc trust me some people think that). I recommend some of their originals, like Can't Sleep Love or Sing, or some of their covers like Evolution of Michael Jackson or Where Are U Now, but you could honestly pick pretty much anything on their channel and it'll be great.
Thank you for your heartfelt reactions. Pentatonix has 6+ years of content to suggest, it's hard to know where to begin. As a few have suggested Aha at the Singapore star vista is a fantastic one to witness live vocals and showcases Mitch beautifully. Also the beginning vocals, while they wait for Kevin to get back on stage is pretty amazing as well.
It's obvious you are hooked. Before watching all their "modern" videos you should watch the sing off videos. They were great then but still evolving into the group they are now and they are a great introduction to each member and 'where they came from'.
OK that's it!!! as of today you are now a certified pentaholic 2 videos in a row. and to think it is just beginning. You are doing an amazing job with just your facial features so words are just a filler. Oh and by the way digging the glasses. they look great
I have no idea how many times I have watched this one, and I get a little teary still. I think you need one of their more upbeat songs - I'd suggest "Sing" or "Can't Sleep Love", which are both PTX originals - they'll cheer you right up! :)
They all have their own solo stuff as well as their music in Pentatonix. Scott and Mitch have a RUclips channel called Superfruit and they just recently came out with an album and have many covers on the channel! Kirstin, Avi and Kevin also have their own EP’s! :)
Across a separation of thousands of miles and 25+ years, we react *so* similarly to music - I do believe we are 'simpatico'! I regret those miles and those years - hope you don't mind me saying that! Yeah, I too get goosebumps and watery eyes listening to much of Pentatonix's repertoire. If I may suggest ... I get the same kind of reactions listening to Diana Ankudinova - you should check out her performances! I can *thoroughly* recommend: Rechenka (in Russian) Wicked Game (English) Human (English) Derniere Danse (French) Blizzard (Russian) Me Voy (Spanish) 'Rechenka' is about an orphan girl who is engaged to someone she doesn't love, and she goes down to the river (the border between the living and the dead) to talk to her mother and ask for her advice. It's beautiful, sad, and haunting! 'Blizzard' (sometimes translated as 'Snowstorm') is about a girl who asks for the snow to cover (bury) her and her house because the one she loves is gone. Also beautiful and sad! By the way, her name is pronounced: Dee *ah* nah Ahnk oo *din* ohvah Try her out, I don't think you'll be disappointed!
Loving the reactions Naterlie. Another great acepella group is Home Free. They do a lot of country but not just country. They won the sing off after Penetonix did. Check them out. React to something of theirs.
I've just been looking through your PTX playlist, and I see that you haven't watched their -cover- upgrade of _Bohemian Rhapsody_ yet. They put a lot of work into it because they wanted to get it just right, and some of what they did is nearly unbelievable. I think you would greatly enjoy it.
Hi Margret, I had actually covered that song but due to youtubes famous copyright strikes, i had to remove the video. you are right tho i did very much enjoy it :)
@@IAmYou_N I'm sorry to hear that. I think it's actually the record label that goes after PTX reactors so aggressively, and RUclips then has little choice in the matter. As far as I can tell, PTX themselves have no problem with reactors - they know how much they need the pentaholics, and how crucial RUclips was to their success in the early days after Sony reneged on their first contract. I saw your reaction to _The Wizard of Ahhhs;_ I bet you had no hassle from RUclips on that one. Todrick posted it on his own channel and he seems to be more interested in the publicity than in protecting his copyrights (not that he's actually risking them). And I believe he's very proud of _Wizard of Ahhhs_ (as he should be), so he wants it out there getting as much notice as possible. I bet _Bohemian Rhapsody_ gave you an epic Mitch-slap; I know it did to me. You think you understand just how good Mitch is, and then he does something like that. 💖
Love your videos. So glad you've discovered Pentatonix! If you like a capella, you should check out Voctave doing Disney Love Medley featuring Kirsten and her fiancee Jeremy. Also check out other Voctave videos like Disney Princess Medley!
If you want a recommendation for Pentatonix... go back to where they first were starting. They were on a show called "The Sing Off". They won the season they were on, but the 10th and 12th performances were astonishing.
Your first video for Home Free shouldn't be Mayday. I suggest you listen to My Church or Country Fried Pop (or both first). Or even in the blood. One needs to hear them sing others songs before Mayday to truly appreciate Tim Foust singing abilities. He is a bass that with an incredible vocal range. I believe 5 octaves, maybe more
if you love Kristin's voice so much you should check out her solo Ep album Love. It's amazing. So is Mitch an Scott's Solo Superfruit album. It's called Superfruit Future Friends. Both are really worth checking out.
It’s oddly paradoxical; the song is about broken love, grief and loss but this performance comes across as positively triumphant.
Might have to add that to a travel list, the closest thing we have here are salt lakes but less epic background scenes. ! Thank you
I'm loving your PTX reactions! Keep 'em coming :)
Leonard Cohen heard this before he died and said that it was his favorite cover of the song.
This song and video is a great example why they have 3 Grammy’s
Avi's part does something wonderful to me 😁🤗
Great reaction! And yes, The live performance of "Aha" at the Star Vista in Singapore is an absolute must.

Cant wait !
They leave you speechless unbalievable

About the cinematography, a company called FifGen Films has made most of their videos.
Re: The cinematography... I understand that the video was completely shot with a drone! That's mildly mind blowing.
Thank you for your heartfelt reactions. Pentatonix has 6+ years of content to suggest, it's hard to know where to begin. As a few have suggested Aha at the Singapore star vista is a fantastic one to witness live vocals and showcases Mitch beautifully. Thank you !!
She's beautiful already.
Another great reaction love it!
Love your reaction to this! Great video.
I have no idea how many times I have watched this one, and I get a little teary still.
I think you need one of their more upbeat songs - I'd suggest "Sing" or "Can't Sleep Love", which are both PTX originals - they'll cheer you right up! :)
Thank you will add them to the list :)

They all have their own solo stuff as well as their music in Pentatonix. Scott and Mitch have a RUclips channel called Superfruit and they just recently came out with an album and have many covers on the channel! Kirstin, Avi and Kevin also have their own EP’s! :)
Music for the soul.
Nice reaction. Oh, and I love the "adjectives".....and your accent. 👌
Scott also did le bass while Avi sang. ;D You learn something new each day.
you must must must react to pentatonix "bohemian rhapsody"!!! and "aha! live in singapore"!!!!
I'll be recording that one this week and queuing it up :)
I can *thoroughly* recommend:
Rechenka (in Russian)
Wicked Game (English)
Human (English)
Derniere Danse (French)
Blizzard (Russian)
Me Voy (Spanish)
'Rechenka' is about an orphan girl who is engaged to someone she doesn't love, and she goes down to the river (the border between the living and the dead) to talk to her mother and ask for her advice. It's beautiful, sad, and haunting!
'Blizzard' (sometimes translated as 'Snowstorm') is about a girl who asks for the snow to cover (bury) her and her house because the one she loves is gone. Also beautiful and sad!
By the way, her name is pronounced:
Dee *ah* nah
Ahnk oo *din* ohvah
Try her out, I don't think you'll be disappointed!
You are perfectly epitomizing all of our feelings the first time we saw these videos... Keep it up!!!!
Loving the reactions Naterlie. Another great acepella group is Home Free. They do a lot of country but not just country. They won the sing off after Penetonix did. Check them out. React to something of theirs.
my favorite version of this was by K.D. Lang.....until I heard this.....now this is my favorite, and the best of all, I believe.
Find someone that looks at you the way Natalie looks at the video when Avi starts his verse... :D
You're their biggest fan
Bohemian rhapsody! You’ll love it!
When someone says Mitch is their favourite I click that subscribe button so fast it's not even funny lol
I cannot wait for more PTX reactions :)
😘💜.
I can relate to you so much! love your reactions!
When I discovered u I immediately subbed, bless u for bringing this reaction to all of us 😭😂
Thank you :)
Omg, you're a lover of Greensleeves! Such a beautiful, beautiful tune. I was in love the moment I first heard it, 40+ years ago.
If you love Kirsten's voice then check out Voctave Disney Love Medley featuring Kirsten and her fiancee.
They broke up, but do still check this out, it's great!
If you liked this, try their version of Amazing Grace.
Mitch is my favorite too.
so sweet. KD Lang's live at the Sidney Opera house is my fave. But this is still wonderful.

Oh boy are you going to rethink that statement when next weeks video comes out haha
Nattering, whoo, where do I begin? So I Bought your photo. I want to limit my love. So I do not Devalue love. You amaze me. Kiss kiss hug hug.
If you like this song then please react to Bobby Andonov's Audition on Australia's Got Talent from 2010
Mitch is my fav too. But they are all ridiculously talented. I love your videos. Keep reacting to ptx too
Try "amazing grace" or " the prayer".
it's not a really happy song.. but it is beautifully done.
It’s been a year and I still struggle to find adjectives.
New sub! Watching all your videos from the start! And omg... Is Mitch everyone's favourite?
I mean.... He's my favourite too but.. Just sayin' 😂
he is pretty great
Please react to Mayday - Home Free
Sure thing I'll be recording a bunch next week so stayed tuned :)
I believe 5 octaves, maybe more
MITCH IS MY FAVORITE TOO !
Please react to Peter Bence's piano cover of Despacito as well as Janet Deviln's cover of Zombie by the Cranberries
oooo the cranberries cover.. i am down !
Oh shit cheers for the reply :) Janet has an extremely unique voice in my opinion i think you'll really like her rendition of the Zombie
if you love Kristin's voice so much you should check out her solo Ep album Love. It's amazing. So is Mitch an Scott's Solo Superfruit album. It's called Superfruit Future Friends. Both are really worth checking out.
I may or may not have scheduled a couple videos this coming week involving one of these two things haha
Cool. I can send you links to some if you want?
No problemo, pop them below if you like :)
Here's one ruclips.net/video/hg8lxtKSMQ0/видео.html

Acapella no or very few instruments
Because you can spell.
Not sure if sarcasm or legit because sometimes I can't spell......
Mitch's voice can be good for prank calls cuz he kinda sounds like a girl (no i am NOT hating he just amazing k)
