Dravid was a go getter, a fighter, technically sound and dependable. I always respected his contribution but never enjoyed watching his batting coz there will be so many dots n left ones 😕

No, Jaysurya's rumour was even before 2003 world cup. He used to consistently score against India, so there was a rumour going that he used a spring bat.
Jayasuria spring in bat was way before 2003.. I remember this because I made a hole in my cricket bat & put my ball point pen spring in the bat lol 😂

This discussion really shows how we all thought, liked, loved, and had similar emotions across the country for this game. It makes me nostalgic to just listen in retrospective. Nice discussion not just this video but many other "90s songs", Serials growing up etc..

I am younger than you guys so I didn't get a lot of the references mentioned, but just the sheer excitement in all of you on the topic was such a treat yaar! I used to watch a lot of cricket with my dad and brothers too, but I think they killed it by doing too much of it. But it was evident that ALL of you are fans considering harr kisi ko harr kuch yaad tha!
