Usual they suffer from Depression or PTSD which could lead to suicidal thoughts. You don't wake up one day and feel like jumping off a building or overdosing on prescription meds. Some type of trauma leads up to suicidal thoughts. It's surprising in Big Sean since he's making millions and living life, while the avg person is suffering paying bills and working @ a 9-5 shitty job for a small check. I'm always surprised when celebrities talk about suicide.

Yes, Kendrick had the best verse on Control. However, I remember when I first listened to Control, I thought that Big Sean's verse was amazing, and I still do. Kendrick just had Sean in terms of flair, ferocity, and the name dropping was straight 🔥! The first two things can mainly be attributed to the name dropping though. I feel like DSP was his best project, due to the lyrics, content & production. Some may ONLY see Sean Don, as a PUNCHLINE RAPPER.... Well, they need to listen to "So Much More", "Deep", "One Man Can Change The World" & "Halfway On The Balcony". Great substance on those tracks. Sean has CAME a long way, from his Finally Famous mixtapes to being 1 of the best rappers/artists of this generation. No particular order. Up there with Kendrick, Cole, Drake, Fabolous & Pusha T.
