It's cause he's so direct and to the point. Most math teachers dance around the problem and give a bunch of unnecessary info that confuses the whole class. But Brian just jumps right into the actual problem and shows us how to solve it, no extra bullshit added.
@@TheArmedNurse yeah and he looks like he enjoys teaching unlike my teacher who looks more tired in class then me and is always sighing when we get it wrong and like drags her face down at the same time and doesn’t even teach us she just puts a video and makes us take notes 😔
Thank you so much, I have spent hours looking through other videos and example problems and could never figure it out. The way you explained it made it so easy, you're an amazing professor.
im going back to school and taking a placement test, and I only watch this guy's videos for math help. Your videos are simple and easy to understand for people who struggle in math! Thank you!
@@brianmclogan um doing basic mathematics, i don't understand trigonometric, sequence, binomial theorem, i want to connect with u since we are allowed to use other sources
I spend hours in my algebra II class not understanding anything and feeling hella stupid but watch a 5min youtube video and learn the whole concept so easily. Thank you
So helpful. I was not getting it then I looked on you tube and watched a few people and still did not get how to do it, then found you!! Thank God!😁👏😁👏😁👏😁
This man is like super Not bcz he knows this things clearly But since he is very clear wid his explanation part Hats off From my bottom of the heart I Hope this channel grows a lot!!! 😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌
test point is commonly (0,0). For the shaded area, replace the x and y in your inequality to the test point. If it comes out as true, the test point is IN the shaded area. If false, it is NOT in the shaded area.
Wasn't the graph supposed to be shaded above the line because it's greater than/equal, to that way it makes the bottom boundary lines true? The final equation is y >= 4/5X - 5, right?
Thank you so much video was so clear and useful i was absent 1 day and teacher says u have to get notes from classmates and i woud feel akward to do that now im ready for my 2 tests this week thanks again so much im will always from now on check ur channel for stuff i don't understand
Spends 1 hour in algebra: makes no sense
Watches video for 3 minutes: worlds easiest problem
awesome, love it
ZiadIsEpic TRUUUUUUUUUE THAT
Videos are always better than actual teachers teaching
Exactly😂
Trueee! this teacher is a legend❤️
Can’t understand a 1 hour algebra class yet a 5 minute video and I’m basically an expert on it 😂 thank you for this vid ❤️
Ava Piazza I have a quiz TMR and I still didn’t understand this. Now I do lmao.

true!
Dude that how I feel everytime I whatch his video he helps sm like wtf

wow this was actually so helpful i have a test tomorrow and i couldn't understand anything this cleared it up so much for me
Same thats what I’m doing right know!
Limp Frog I think we’re all doing this 😂
Wow, that's the easiest method taught by any teacher
If it’s the easiest method wouldn’t it just be a better method than any other to teach because it’s easy to teach
One thing I love about math, this video is 5 years old. Yet it still helped me a ton! Thanks!
Yea carzy who whould of know math will change in 5 years
i was having a headache on these problems for hours, so happy to finally understand it in a matter of mins.
I cheated on my homework so this is how I compensate
😂😂😂
😂
LMFAO SAME
Same

You're a life saver, I've stopped failing my algebra quizzes ever since I started watching your videos. Thanks!
You are
Very welcome!!
Whenever i watch math videos i always feel so relaxed. tHEIR VOICES R SO SOOTHING (yesimweirdiknow)
This man has made an impact on so many students outside the classroom
thank you so much, you don't know how much of happy you've made me when , I watched this, it is hard, but you made it look easier
These channels are gonna be blowing up rn

happy to be able to help!
Thank you sir........it really helped me......first time watched your video😇😇
Thank you Mr.Mclogan this helped me alot🙂
you are very welcome!

You are the best online teacher I ever had!
I’m taking the regents today, and this video really helped me a lot. Thanks! :)
you are very welcome!

Bruh y can’t this guy be my teacher this has officially helped me graduate middle school (8th grade)
Oh my gosh, this was a life saver! Your videos are very helpful!!!!
I spend hours in my algebra II class not understanding anything and feeling hella stupid but watch a 5min youtube video and learn the whole concept so easily. Thank you
Thanks so MUCH! My algebra teacher always sucked at explaining this and she sent me this video and now I understand it!! 😁
i’ve spent like three weeks on this. didn’t understand a thing.
i spend 4:49 minutes and i understand it almost perfectly
How I wish I have a teacher like him :(
Thanks for saving my life
Man you saved me ! Got my finals the day after, and the explanation couldn't be easier
So helpful. I was not getting it then I looked on you tube and watched a few people and still did not get how to do it, then found you!! Thank God!😁👏😁👏😁👏😁
Your explanation is great!! Thank you for saving my life!!
you did not flip the sign when you divide it by -5, i saw it before you erased...
yes that is because I was not actually solving an inequality but an equation.
yeah dumbo jk
O my god, this is so helpful😱😱😭
Happy to help Edilberto
You are a mark saver. I actually got all the points in such a problem
Literally so thankful for this video! It’s so easy now ! Thanks !!!!
The way you explain this helps me so much, thank you!
I dont know is Flipped the sign...
Can you please what do you mean about that?
This man is like super
Not bcz he knows this things clearly
But since he is very clear wid his explanation part
Hats off
From my bottom of the heart I Hope this channel grows a lot!!!

omg life saver could not understand it any other way this saved me thanks so much
best maths teacher!!!!!
You are the best teacher ever
thanks for the help. i'm in 1st year university and i really need a highschool math review 🎉 nice videooo
How do u make a test point and where do you know to shade in the graph?
test point is commonly (0,0). For the shaded area, replace the x and y in your inequality to the test point. If it comes out as true, the test point is IN the shaded area. If false, it is NOT in the shaded area.
Thanks for teaching us❤🍀
Tommorow is my Maths exam......
You saved me man!!!!! Great explanation.
OMG thank you sooo much this video literally helped me a ton and I have a quiz on this tmrw!!
What would I use as a test point if 0,0 is in my boundary line?
any point not on the boundry line say (1,1) or (-1,1) or (1,-1)
THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!!!! I was so confused, but now I understand! You truly are an amazing teacher !!!!
So what if we have to graph 2 lines and shade 2 areas? Is it the same process?
I am writing my exam tomorrow and this is the easiest method that I could ever do thank you ❤️😁
Many thanks! Failed to comprehend this concept hitherto.
Your videos are a life saver!!! God bless you sir!
Wasn't the graph supposed to be shaded above the line because it's greater than/equal, to that way it makes the bottom boundary lines true? The final equation is y >= 4/5X - 5, right?
Yes, also, he did not change the inequality sign when he divided 25 into -5. So it is supposed to be shaded above the line
Why do you do a test coordinates (0,0)?
Thanks for helping me. This was way simpler than the books make it.
At 1:48 you didvided 4x/4 what do i didvide by if i just have a x ? Does that x mean its 1/1? Please and thx
M’Guy helps me a lot. Thanks :)
what i do not understand is how do u know wich variable is positive and wich is negative
what do you mean?
You do -A/B. So it would be -4/-5 = 4/5, which is the slope he has in the board
Thank God for these youtube videos
This was so good love dis vid💛
what if 4x was just x? Does this still work?
This is so much better than my professor's lecture ☹😳 thank-you so much!
Wow thank you so much i was really struggling you made it so simple thanks
Thanks for helping us
You saved me, thank you.
I got a question if the greater than or less than no. was 1 how would you find the intercept, is it the same? Using the remainder as the intercept?
learned this yesterday and forgot. And he just taught it the same way my teacher did! bravo! i love thanks so much ☺️!
Sharren Henry me too
Me too
it's one of those things that we, all mathematicians, do like grocers most of the time. Draw a line, check a point to be safe aaaaand done
Aren't you supposed to shade the unwanted areas?
can be done either way
But Mr. McLogan, my math textbook makes it quite clear that I should only shade the unwanted regions.
Thank you
Thank you for that video it help my daughter thank you 😊😊😊
Why did you have a decimal answer ? Just confused because i used intercept form
Thank you , keep it up , a very useful for a student like me 💕
How about those undivided numbers? Like 3x + 4y > 6?
they you would just have fractions
Thank u sooooo much sir❤️
This help me pass my math final thank you
hey i have x+4y
same process
Thank u soo much I don’t know how to tell it to you in a proper way than saying thank you only 🙏
How can I understand trigonometric, sequences, binomial theorem, 😢
Can you show us how to solve this linear inequality?
Y2..... if (-3,2)
Brian carries me through Algebra.
Hmmm it's helpful
Thanks
but it is (greater or equal) why didn't we shade up ward
Thank you so much! You saved me a ton!!❤
THIS IS SO FREAKY UNDERSTANDABLE
This video helped me a lot
sir can i have one question what grade are your students?
V nyccc explanation sir...tnq so much..😎😎ur vdo helped me a lot ...👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿
You are very welcome Nizami
The value for me was 2x + 3y 7 > 1 with greater than being 1 how would I solve it?
1:14 what if "x" has a value?
Thank you so much for this helpful guide, sir💙
Mr. Brian , can we also use this same method to do any kind of linear inequality problems?
Yes but might not always be the easiest numbers
Wow my math teacher could never make it this clear to me... thanks
Thank you very much for this video. It is very easy now for me to understand.
Thank u so much💛
Thank you so much video was so clear and useful i was absent 1 day and teacher says u have to get notes from classmates and i woud feel akward to do that now im ready for my 2 tests this week thanks again so much im will always from now on check ur channel for stuff i don't understand

You are freaking amazing!
nice to spend our times in YT for studies
Bro thanks for the vid and keep it up this really helps me
Your the man! thank you.
So if the test point (0,0) is false you shade the opposite side
yes
Can you make a video in the near future about different ways to solve this type of problem
Is there a way to avoid fractions when doing this method for example when graphing x+2y
you could use the intercept method
How do you solve and graph Linear Systems

In which standard is it taught there?
Like we r studying it in class 11 here In india
B/w it was just an awsome explaination❤️
when i was in the U.S i learned it in 7th grade but even though i live somewhere else now we still have these on our highschool exams
