Companies should have small campuses in tier 2 cities as well.
1/3rd of the hard earned money goes away for expenses, 1/3rd goes towards tax. Rest for saving/investment, etc.

Bangalore is a paradise if it can be maintained well, but the city is not very clean in certain places as there are no public dustbins anywhere in most of the places and the roads are of poor quality in all the wards. Traffic and crowds are common as there is not much space for pedestrian walkways. Many public open spaces and green parks still need to be developed to match cities like Singapore and New York. But cost of living is comparable to top international cities.

Agreed .... but bhai bangalore me ctc bhi zyada hai as compared to gurgaon ncr. And deposit agar ap dete ho to wo refundable hota hai. Best option to avoid traffic and save time is to live near to office.
Party and other expenditures is totally subjective, jise karni hai wo karega nahi to ghar baithega. I believe Bangalore is best city to live right now for your individual growth because there is no BS here. People are sensible and pollution se bhi bach jaoge. When u took fully furnished flat for rent why do you need to spend money on renting furniture ?
Buy a gear bicycle to commute to office.
200/- per day you can save.
Maid for cleaning you mentioned Rs 1500/- per person. This is illogical . For cleaning , Maids charge by flat size not by number of persons.
Since you mentioned maid charges person which means there are other people also staying in Flat , then flat rent Rs.17K also will be shared.
Overall expenses should come much lesser than 35K on Sharing basis.

Iska main reason over population handle hai. India main actully sirf megacities hai they are Mumbai delhi Kolkata chennai. I hate Mumbai but have to admire it. In 4 cities main population ko counter karne ka capabilities kahi na kahi hai. Megacity main Har field main kam karna padta hai. Bangalore chennai ki jagah lene k liye apna population bada dia aur kutch village ko vi include kar dia . Isse traffic expenses sab bigad raha hai. Chennai ka population Bangalore se sirf 10 lakh hi Kam hai but chennai ka kutch problem nehi hai issue nehi hai. Problem uehi hai ki kutch gawar pehele thik se padai nehi kia aur internet pe videos dekke ulta sidha sochte hai. Megacities aur tier 1 city main control maintenance ka farak hota hai

1 bhk houses at good area were available starting from 6 k. It depends on what facility you opt. However, a middle class person in banglore can easly pass a month with just 10k to 12k. If you stay in pg, the total expence in a month would be around 8k only.
