Sounds more like an advertisment than a review 😅, no actual numbers given, how long did the battery last, what was the speed FPS when playing games etc.

I just received mine a few days ago. Right in time for a long business trip. I've been put off with tablets before, Samsung Tab A, Asus Transformer, and the Amazon Fire HD. They all would be laggy and not a fun device to have. Not to mention the battery life was never great. So far, the OnePlus Pad has been very smooth to use. I've been watching tons of video from Netflix, RUclips and HBO Max. The battery life has been outstanding. This is also with me turning the brightness all of the way up. I'm not a big gamer but Clash of Clans works great. The speakers are nice and loud. The keyboard initially I wasn't thrilled with but it already had a firmware update and took care of the connectivity issues that I was having right out of the box.

Can anyone answer please - i am trying to find out if this tablet can cast to the TV for streaming movies, like u can do with an Iphone and Airplay. AIRPLAY is perfect it plays it in the proper ratio, perfect quality and in full screen too. But if i try to cast from my old s2 tablet it takes 40% of the screen away from the border and crappy quality. Any ideas if this cast features are that of quality? I know it has Screencast & screen mirroring options. Any help from a user would be appreciated, i want to find a tablet that casts perfect quality, thx anyone!!

Binge-watching on the OnePlus Pad is a dream come true! The screen is incredible for movies and shows - super sharp and immersive. Plus, the speakers are surprisingly loud for a tablet, making the sound fantastic. Battery life rocks too, lasting a full day of browsing and streaming. The only snag? This thing can be a little slippery, especially when I'm out and about. To fix that, I'm thinking of a matte black TPU skin. Extra grip for holding this beauty and screen protection from scratches from gadgetshieldz, all without sacrificing the Pad's sleek design. Boom! Problem solved, style on point.

It realy looks a great tablet.
Prefer the ratio compared to 16 10.
In another review they did mention the graphics GPU was not as good as samsungs s8 series. The cpu was great.
Also they mentioned that the screen 'blurs' when scroilling in chrome or when there is lot of motion on the screen. They said had to do with the optimizing screen software. Trying to find out more if anyone else noticed this...
The 144Hz is only for very few , oneplus owned? , apps but it does use 120 etc like samsung which looks smooth.
All in all great tablet just bit worried about this blurring....

@@franklingoodwin I don't act like the media tech chipset is better. In fact, it is better than the tensor chipset. You may want to consider working on your grammar while you're displaying your total lack of knowledge on the subject of processors. The mediatek dimensity 9000 chipset is a flagship processor that is rated at 3.0 gigahertz per second. We're not talking about an old P series chipset. Times have changed and I strongly suggest you change with them.
Frankly, the tensor G2 chipset is a bomb just waiting to go off. There is a reason that Samsung doesn't use their own exynos chip sets and their flagship devices. They have a tendency to experience uncontrollable levels of heat. In addition, they bleed power inefficiently and it is a flaw that Samsung has never managed to overcome. That is why they by and large restrict the use of these processors to their budget A series devices. All the tensor chipsets are is a customized version of a Samsung exynos with all the flaws that go along with it. Logically, why would Samsung volunteer to manufacture a chipset for Google so they can compete in the same market space? That is tantamount to putting bullets in the weapon that is pointed at your head. Answer, they would not do this because, they would be arming one of their top competitors. LOL. For God sakes, why do you think the pixel tablet cost less?🤣

The normal Galaxy S8 Tab still has an LCD screen and comparing the price gap , OnePlus looks like a better buy and will keep on improving with software updates.
