Great question. Adding complexity will add cost so the more basic the engine, the less technological improvements will be incorporated. Off the top of my head I believe temperatures at idle of 500 decrees c. Temperature upper limits of 710c on the rr250
@@MrSkidkicker That's lower than my RC jet's out let temperature. Think the weight efficiency does not matter for such a small engine and it is more than made up for by the large rotor. How often do you have to replace the turbine?
