For years I have been in this fandom. For years I have watched these characters grow and change, just as I have grown and changed with them. It’s been one hell of a ride with lots of ups and downs. I’ve literally been beyond happy sometimes with certain moments on this show but I’ve also been totally crushed at others. And Friday this journey finally came to an end and I have SO many mixed emotions about it.
First things first… these two clearly deserved better. I have nothing against K*aroline - never had tbh - but they way they threw in Klaus letter at the end of this episode was just so dirty. For the last 3 seasons they have written Steroline as if they would be forever and eternal… But then they had to go make Stefan human and ruin everything. Like why? I mean in that moment we knew they could never have forever… and that broke me. But I thought, at least they would have 80 something years… but no ofc not… apparently separating them SOMEDAY wasn’t enough. Of course he had to sacrifice himself for Damon yet again - as if he hasn’t sacrificed himself enough in this stupid show. I get that tvd ultimately is about the brothers, but honestly no one had to die! I’m so pissed. Okay enough ranting
Secondly, the steroline goodbye scene was beautiful, but what really broke me was the phone-call that Caroline made. It was heartbreaking and I loved the ”I will love you forever”. I also loved that stefan’s last words was about how he will love her forever as well. In my head these two will always be endgame, and they will always have a special place in my heart.
Thank you Paul and Candice for giving us Steroline. And thank you to the Steroline fam for being my biggest supporters and loving my steroline videos. The journey would’ve not been the same without you all. This one is for you guys. I also would like to say a special thank you to Kinsey for watching my preview and being a true angel.

As for the rest of the tvd finale; it was good but not great. I had a lot of expectations and it really didn’t live up to any of them. I think what bothered me the most was Nina and Ian’s acting - especially when they had scenes together. Nina’s acting was not the best neither as Katherine or as Elena tbh but that last shot with Delena walking down the street was Ian’s worse acting on this entire show ugh. That half-ass smile was so bad I cringed.
BUT I’m gonna try and make a DE video anwyays, bc i need to get some kinda closure for this ship as well. I’m not feeling too inspired right now though so it might take a while ugh.
Anyways, please enjoy this tribute to a really amazing and special pairing on tv. A relationship founded in so much trust and friendship and genuine pure love. I will miss them greatly.

The best tv character I've ever seen
I mean.... How can someone not love STEROLINE? Their development was the most realistic thing that ever happened on the show. They are the ultimate definition of finding "Soulmates in best friendship". That's the purest form of love built on respect and absolute understanding. That is the reason they were so sure of loving each other forever irrespective of death tearing them apart. Coz you can never stop loving your bestfriend especially when they are also your soulmate. ❤️
stefan was a miserable vampire. he was able to finally find true peace in his death and caroline understood that. they were endgame. they were happy and married when he left the earth and that is what people need to take from it. when caroline dies after he long and happy life, she will see stefan again and they will be together.

I'm a fan of klaroline and this still hurts me. You did an amazing job here and Stefan deserved better. Caroline deserved better too. Even if I love klaroline with all my heart, he deserved a long and happy life together. Julie did so dirty with Stefan and I just wished she left them be happy until he died. This was so unfair.
Wow. I never liked the idea of them becoming a couple, I always preferred them as friends, but THIS is absolutely stunning and it makes me really appreciate the beauty of their journey. With everything now said and done, I realize that ultimately their relationship is rooted in friendship and respect and trust, which is all you can really ask for in a love story. So while it may not have been where I wanted their relationship originally to go, I can't help but appreciate their love story for what it is, even though it was short lived, and messy and complicated, it truly was beautiful and EPIC in its own unique way. 😢 brb, crying forever!! 😭😭😭💔💔💔

I've never been able to convince myself to Steroline. Actually, I've always thought them to be good friends and that's all. I've never believed that their relationship can be as strong. I've always seen Stelena as epic and unique. But now I see that I was wrong. 4 years later and it's still epic
Before, I was totally a klaroline shipper till my last breathe but this week I’ve watched so many steroline edit on RUclips and Instagram and honestly I’m starting to question my opinion about klaroline/steroline. I can understand why people don’t really like them as a couple but they aren’t forced AT ALL, Caroline liked from the beginning and Stefan has gotten closer to Caroline slowly and fell in love with her naturally and lovely and that was so beautiful to watch on my screen

I always used to beleive that Klaroline are the real deal but SteRoline over hese three seasons made me feel so strongly about friendship, love, reationship, happiness and real , true love...something which makes sense,something that touches You at the right spots, makes yiur heart melt and realize how an I LOVE YOU can actuallybe meant. Something which is passionate and soft at the same moment.
WesCola have lived them so beautifully that no, IDC about Klaus' s letter today. It's stupid when in comparison I see Care saying "I love you fotever." KC sounds more like a teenage fantasy now because SC had reached the pinnacle of love.

Oh no...i'm crying so much, this video just wow, i can see how much work and effort you put into it and wow it was totally worh it...about them, i never watched the show completly, but i remember clearly watch a random episode of season 3 or 4 and they were dancing, he puts her in his arms and i was like 'they will be endgame' and my friend next to me laugh because 'no they are friends', i watched their scenes, and of all of the tvd couples they are the only ones who make me feel something, and make me vid them, and i watch the wedding and i cry, and the finale...i think i was right, i think they are endgame and this video is a proof of it

I actually loved forwood more but steroline had such a beautiful foundation, friends first AND they were ALWAYS there for each other, were honest and open and told it like it is SND very supportive (I had problems in s4 with the Damon/DE bashing because #1 OTP OF ALL OTPS but whatever) I knew they'd happen eventually, I'm so happy with the buildup they are special, you don't get many ships built up and having this foundation, most shops just HAPPEN overnight, I love built up relationships.

I am so glad that in the final scene, where Stefan is talking to Elena, that he got her message and sent one back to her. I am a Klauroline shipper but if they didn't exist, I would be Steroline 100%. I am still slightly Steroline, I was happy with their relationship because they were happy. I think he did find a love that was better than the ideas of "true love" he'd known before Caroline. His love for Elena was intense but it was meant to end. While Caroline, had he lived, they would've been together for as long as he lived and I truly believe in the afterlife, they'll be reunited in peace.
