    Hey Mike, awesome video! Quick question on the topic of eating/drinking. Is eating and drinking while walking not customary? Also, drinking beer right outside, although legal, is frowned upon right? Thanks in advance!

    I am coming to Japan soon. This is my first time coming there. Do you know the different between apa hotel Shinjuku Kabukicho hagashi and apa hotel Shinjuku Kabukicho tower? What is the distance between them? I heard that Kabukicho surrounding area is not that great at night. Is it true? How about apa nihombashi hotel?

    Thank you for the video…i have question what is the different between ic card and pasmo card?

    • @mikeinjap
      @mikeinjap  2 года назад

      You're welcome! IC card is the general name for cards with an IC chip, commonly for public transportation. Pasmo card is just one type of IC card, like the Suica card.

    Thanks for the info. If I travel to Osaka and Kyoto from Tokyo, and return to Tokyo in 2 weeks, is it still a good idea to purchase a 2-week JR pass?

    • @mikeinjap
      @mikeinjap  Год назад

      That would depend on how much traveling you will be doing via train during the entire trip and if it ends up costing more in total. It could allow you to even go to Hiroshima, stop at Nagoya or even do 2 return trips from Tokyo.

    This is helpful! May I ask what are the documents that I need to present upon entering Japan. Like a QR code or app that I need to download?

    • @mikeinjap
      @mikeinjap  2 года назад +1

      Hi Faye, thank you for the comment. I'm actually going to upload a new video regarding entering Japan very soon to hopefully answer your question. And yes, there is a new app called Fast Track.
