- Get the M2 iPad Pro 2024: geni.us/ipadairm2
Apple's finally delivered the big iPad Air we've all been dreaming of, and it's a game-changer. Meet the 13-inch M2 iPad Air. It's essentially last year's M2 iPad Pro, but in a more accessible and budget-friendly form factor. For most people, this is the iPad to get.
First, let’s talk about that 13-inch display. It’s like moving from a cramped studio to a spacious condo. Everything looks better and works better. Binge-watching your favorite shows, diving into work projects, or unleashing your creative side - it all feels different with those extra inches. It's immersive, it's beautiful, and it's just the right size.
Performance? The M2 chip isn't just fast, it's pro-level fast. Editing 4K video in Final Cut Pro? No problem. Multitasking with multiple apps open side by side? Easy. It’s got the power of the last-gen iPad Pro but at a fraction of the cost.
And then there are the accessories. The new Apple Pencil Pro with its squeeze and roll gestures feels like an extension of your hand. The Magic Keyboard, while not the new aluminum one, still offers the best typing experience you can get on an iPad.
If you're thinking about getting an iPad that can handle almost anything you throw at it without breaking the bank, the 13-inch M2 iPad Air is your go-to. It’s got the power, it’s got the screen, and it’s got the price.

It’s also been a dream of mine for Apple to have the iPad Air have a larger display. I don’t have to pay an arm and a leg for that once upon a time larger display iPad Pro 😊
Just buy last gen Pro lol
I went with the maxed out blue 13“. A really good device with style. Love the bigger screen, since I don‘t watch TV. I also like the 1 TB option. 256 GB from my former Air was to low for me. Only the still low not changeable RAM could be a bottleneck of being futureproof with more demanding iPadOS and App versions.
Great video! If I got an iPad Air, I have a feeling that the 60Hz display would drive me crazy, coming from an iPhone 14 Pro. Is it worth $400 from the 11” Air to the 11” Pro *just* for that reason though?
“You don’t need an iPad Pro anymore”? The display quality, the speaker quality differences makes me stick to the Pro, so it is not always about chipset. once you go Pro, u won’t turn back 😊
Thanks for the great information.
This looks more like a commercial. Doesn’t sound honest.
The only reason I don't want the iPad Air is because it doesn't have ProMotion/120hz. :/
All the tech reviewers make the same videos: 1) Best iPad Ever 2) 1 week & 2 week reviews, 3) I wish it had MacOS 4) You don’t need it, trust us 5) Get an iPad Air instead.
As a semi-techy person myself, its hard having a newer iPhone with high refresh rate and going to an iPad Air without promotion. Call me a snob, but I would use my newer device with a poorer refresh rate LESS than my older device with pro motion. It’s a mental downgrade to me haha.
Hi Andru-- just curious-- what web browser do you use?
But I need the oled
How about the battery life and any overheating issue?
Battery life is great on mine and better than the 10th gen…I don’t notice any heat but I’m not a gamer.
You do if you want the infinitely better Magic Keyboard!
I see lot of people saying don’t buy a m2 air and just buy a refurb pro gen 5 it is a better screen?
Gen 5 would have the same display, but would NOT be available in a 13-inch size though!
@@disastermaster1413 I bought a gen 5 12.9 refurb I think I made the right decisions
2:59 what game is that???
Are the reviewers not allowed to recommend the previous pro model or something? The air makes no sense when there is an m2 pro model.
It is cheaper. And yes, I know you can buy used, but I cannot find a m2 pro for less than 599
Apple discontinued it and its hard to find them. Maybe Amazon has it, but its not a deep discount for it if you find it on there.
They no longer make the iPad Pro M2, so most places have no stock. On Amazon, for example, they only have refurbished. In a month or to they ill also be gone. So no, I completely understand why they do not push the M2 iPad Pro.
@@jisooism well not sure if you are in US, BestBuy is selling 11” m2 pro for $599.
Aren’t u wise enough to know the price differences. In India the m2 pro is 109000 where are the m2 air is 79000😂
I had to return my 13" iPad Air. The software was so limiting compared to my 14.6" Samsung Galaxy Tab S9.
What limitations you faced ?
iPadOS has better apps than the Tab S9, as the Galaxy only runs Android. So, I'm not really sure that's factually correct. They have different UIs and operating systems-maybe that swayed you-but definitely not Android apps being better than iPadOS apps.
@@andyH_Englandhe said software, not apps so maybe the gripe was with iPadOS itself. For example, file management on Android is a lot better and more flexible.
Try doing professional work on a 60hz panel. It's impossible.
I do professional work all the time on iPads including ones with 60hz. Too easy. The only limitation is the user.
@chadgarza9069 don't disrespect my iPad skills Chad.
What a load of baloney. Before 120Hz arrived a few years ago, people had been working professionally for decades on 60Hz. In fact, 120Hz is rarely needed for many pro tasks, such as coding, office work, accounting, and video editing (static display). Even drawing it is not essential as many pro digital artists used 60Hz with no issues. Gaming is useful with 120Hz but most AAA games do not support .60Hz.
@@andyH_England you're just not a pro user
@@andyH_Englandthere was we have no choice except 60 Hz 😊
