Ms Fleurot is a very well-known actress in France. Nominated for six A.C.S. Awards, which are the French equivalent of the HCA - I don't think there's a French Emmy.
Her breakout role was in a comedy called *Kaamelott*, but she's done a bunch of serious roles as well. Her role as a shady lawyer in *Spiral* particularly stands out.
Netflix has her 2022 mini-series *Women at War*.
I love this, funny, sharp, French, and makes us aware intelligence and effectiveness isn't following protocol or talking upper middle class. Yes, provocative wit like this is what I want.
The "quirky but incredibly gifted person advises police/FBI" was popularized in the USA but hasn't been done very well as of late. This looks good. Can't wait for the American remake.
American remake released the trailer last month. It's called _High Potential._ Are you saying you're gonna skip the original and go straight to the spinoff?

Hulu should have released this trailer before ABC released theirs a month ago. This is the original French series, and ABC made an American spinoff. I just realized ABC and Hulu are owned by the same company....

Original Czech series 3 years ago. Same plot same charcters (like literaly) and even main acters look llike sisters.
The original series is French. It was subsequently adapted in several countries, including the Czech Republic.
Wait... what's the difference between having an intellect and having intellectual "potential"? Doesn't the second kind of imply the absence of actual intellect?
I think being HPI is different than being an intellectual, HPI it is just means that you have a high IQ, you can see patterns, you are logical. But intellect is not based on those neccessarily, an intellectual maybe went to school for a long time, may be a specialist in one aspect. A HPI of course can do this but many do not do well at school because it is illogical.
Practical use of intellectual potential.
Sherlock Holmes is the archetype but in other fields you have as recent examples House MD and The Good Doctor. Maybe even Rainman.
Monk is a good one too.

The French version is the original, it's been broadcast since 2021 and there are 4 seasons. The series is a huge success so there are remakes in several countries including the USA.
