The enemies literally ignored him for 75% of this game, he should have been popping off way more. He missed all his shots while the enemies were killing his teammates. I dread to think what happens when the enemies actually put any pressure on him.
Honestly, at such a low rank as he and me are, if I see a Hanzo playing that bad, I'd probably mostly ignore him too. It's a psychological thing I like to do: leave bad players doing whatever the hell they're doing. If I pressure them too much, they might swap to a hero that they play better. If they're not doing much of anything, just leave them comfortable and go for all the rest of his team.

@@aplacewherefunandfunkythin705 The best thing you can have in competetive is a bad dps trying to flank all the time. If they stay somewhere behind the enemy team, the other 4 players will have a disadvantage, thats especially in favour of the enemy tank, because there is 1 less player shooting at them while attacking.

@@aplacewherefunandfunkythin705 Well, I am punishing them by going for the rest of their team first until they stay 1v5 and get demolished. Strategically, the best thing you can do when an enemy is not doing much is just leave them not doing much but that doesn't mean I don't kill them with the rest of their team, I just don't focus them at all.
Imagine a Sojourn who's bad at aim and is not getting any picks. She's already one less opponent. She's practically working on my team's favor. No need to focus her, just let her be. If I punish her too strongly, she might swap to Mei, for example, and get way more value for their team with walls, freeze and self-healing (abilities that don't require much aim).
There's a bunch of psychological tricks you can do so the enemies play in your team's favor. I'm manipulating their choice of hero.

I was in Plat on DPS at the beginning of this season, and was holding it well in the previous season and actively playing. I’ve played more this season because I’ve been trying to regain my rank after falling down to silver, and I kind of stick out like a sore thumb in a lot of matches because I play like I still have plat teammates.
I think the balance this season was my main issue, especially since I’m on console where the easier to play, previously over-buffed characters are even easier than the harder ones. Do you think I’m destined to stay in silver now that I’ve actually equalized my win-rate, or do you think I can climb a bit back up after the changes that have been made and then regain my rank next season when the nerfs hit?
Edit: Forgot to mention, I no longer play with Aim Assist since the latter half of Season 5. I think there were 3 weeks left when I decided to go full turkey, because I want to be able to play at my college (maybe even sub-in for he varsity) with my controller, and there won’t be aim assist on PC, obviously.

Yeah, my Hanzo is i think top 500 at least, i mean i miss some shots and get really nervous when i shoot anything else than the tank but i usually dominate on my gold 5 matches 😂😂😂

I firmly believe that, when you realize you will be punished for your bad plays, that is when you will actually start to improve. What holds most of these players back is no sense of positioning, no sense of target priority, and no sense of timing. They need to look at the bigger picture more

Has been a while but i was in plat 2 with tank and Gold 5 with dps ( my aim suck ass), i used to play a lot of mei, ashe and hanzo. Idk if with that accuracy he can climb up to Gold, but the positioning Is certified silver

since that Is console, i actually have no idea if this aim can compete in Gold. But positioning Is something that probably Is more "Universal", so i was more confident to say that this belong to low silver.

Honestly as a Torb main, just switch to him. 1. Swimsuit torb. 2 you spam chokes anyway so torbs primary does crazy damage and it might not get YOU kills but it'll actually HELP your team.
3. You can play aggressive while having a button that gives you armor, faster shooting and faster movement speed so you get three things to help you get in and out.
4. You literally get free kills at this low of a elo and thats all you seem to care about.

The kiri Hanzo 1v1 genuinely was the most entertaining thing I’ve seen all month that was a treat
If Lifeweaver hadn't pulled him he'd have died to that bastion ult anyway. Something I'm hyper aware of in low elo (yeah I'm a low elo player) is that nobody knows anything but tunnel visioning. I'm maining Ashe and could do with better positioning 100% but also I find in low elo you really have to follow your team around the map because they will all just congregate in the open trying to body block the enemy team (death, just death.)

If I saw this in low gold, I wouldn't even be worried about him. I noticed that he takes a moment to react to things which you get punished for the higher you climb
I wish when i play hanzo, i got an enemy like in this match.. no one looking at u, even when u flank them none of the enemy cares, the enemy dva not even care about u that much..
When i play hanzo in qp to learn him, the enemy tank will goes doom and dva then flying to me all the time
I WAS Plat on console, before making the switch to PC. Aim is tough with a controller, so that doesn't change a huge amount through the ranks, but game awareness, positioning, etc DOES change, and it's the main differences on console: which is why, after the PC switch, it was just a matter of getting used to mouse/keyboard for me to climb.
Having said that: at Plat and above, this guy would NOT be ignored 90% of the time, he would also need to discover the things on the map called 'health packs' and actively go for them: healers can't save you if they're dead, buddy.
11:11 is a great example of this: he goes into the lower part of the building, at 2 health, where there is a mini healthpack clearly visible in front of him, and he decides to just ignore it. The poor Mercy had to put herself in danger to save him, only for him to die to the Dva Pact.
TLDR: He is fine in Silver.
Seen this type of guy so many times. Plays hanzo all game, does nothing. Gets one good ult to get POTG, and your first thought is "Oh no, not this guy, his ego is going to inflate so much from this."
Weaken does an ranked hell series to give low rank players a chance to demonstrate they deserve a higher rank in Smite. You should totally organize something similar.

high elos he die, some of is plays working is the prove he are silver, a lot of hes mistakes are not punished... when he rank up, he gonna lose, normaly we dont learn when a mistake works. He are a good silver player, but still a silver player. TO really improve he need to take the "i suck" pill and learn the self weakeness and understand hes mistakes, stop put the blame in others...being confiant in DPS is a rule.... but arrogant is a mistake...

I would agree Hanzo is easier to get value though especially in low ranks, if this was a few ranks higher this person would of been dead most the game.

High bronze or low silver I could understand but I don't understand how he has managed silver 2 with that aim and positioning. If you can't hit targets that are not only so close to you but also are ignoring you, you definitely don't deserve anything past silver. The only reason he is getting those kills is because he's in silver. In gold he would get shit on and in plat he would probably spend 90% of the game walking back from spawn.

They know the map, are trying, and do hit some shots. That's good enough for console silver. These no awareness opponents are probably sitting on their couches with not great audio and just tunnel visioned away from them. That awareness changes at higher levels though and is probably the main reason even beyond the aim they can't climb.

Thats not how that works.. he says he gets top damage every game, bet he hasn't vod reviewed himself once so he thinks he's just a demon of silver, but watching that gameplay.. 100% deserves silver... Stats without context are useless.
Comments being too harsh. Dude was playing fine and honestly could be gold. Just like anyone else. Just work on aim a bit and positioning. Look into how certain maps should be played. Figure out the meta. Practice with those people in meta. Learn to counter swap. Know when to reset.
Same people tearing this person to shreds, are the same ones that think they deserve higher rank and have the same exact problems. Y’all grow up. It’s not worth bullying someone over a video game. Being able to evaluate yourself and critically think what YOU are doing wrong is something that has to be learned. Clearly. It’s easier to do to someone else. Also take into consideration are you playing with a group or solo? Solo is gonna be harder especially in lower ranks. Don’t let your ego become inflated after watching this if you’re a higher rank but not stopping to realize, you probably wouldn’t be that high of a rank without your group. So the huge egos are the ones trashing this VOD. Good on this player for setting their eyes on a higher rank. But don’t keep blaming your teammates all the time. And it can happen, teammates will hold you back especially if they get carried to a rank they don’t deserve.

@@soldado3076it’s the only way to move forward and make progress. No one becomes greater or the best judging everyone else around them but never changing themselves. It may seem harder in the moment, but wishing someone else to do something will never help you gain that something. And you should never want to rely on someone else gaining what you want.
