  • Purpose - To specifically prepare the larger muscle groups in readiness for higher intensity strength exercises.
    Action - Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and your toes pointing ahead. Slowly descend, bending through the hips, knees and ankles. Stop when your knees reach a 90-degree angle and return to the starting position. Then from the squat position propel yourself up and off the floor landing with good stability.
