- Shaedon Sharpe is the mystery man of the NBA Draft, after announcing his eligibility earlier this month despite sitting out the entire year at Kentucky. The last we saw him play competitive basketball was August 2021 in the Peach Tree Jam competition in AAU ball, so I dug into all the tape to produce a scouting report on how he did.
Amazing breakdown. I cover the Pistons for Locked On Network and this was incredibly insightful and very fair across the board. Will be sharing this around the Pistons community.
Thanks! My Twitter is @nathanfogg1, would love to come on the show if you want someone to talk Sharpe (or Ivey too who I also did a vid on). I've done locked on rockets a bunch of times
@@teaandrockets2704 just followed, I’ll def hit you up
Cade and Shaedon can be one of the best 2 way back courts in the league
This is a freaking amazing breakdown, & with a sweet accent, so you know it's legit. I've been a Kings fan since they moved to Sac, so you can imagine how excited I am to get #4. I'm thinking Ivey, but Sharpe is intriguing as well...thanks for putting this together, I've seen NOTHING remotely this good anywhere, well done! Or in your language, get in!!
Def think sac shud get sharpe
This is very wholesome, thank you!
@@burningknuckle26 him at the 3 and barnes at 6'8 240 van play the 4, kings will have a super star potential wing set for the long term
Film don’t lie people do. Harsh but fair but to be fair he’s super young and has all the upside and ability he just has to want it
A great breakdown. Love the thoughtful analysis
Thanks!
Hope you end up doing one soon on the probable rockets pick Bonchero.
Working on it!
No mystery about AJ Griffin, Benedict Mathurin or Ochai Agbaji. There are so many fine wing players available in the first round. Why pick a mystery in the top 10? Why does the NBA continue to promote unknown over known?
Unknown to you. Not those in the know
You should do Keegan Murray too!
Give us Keegan Murray next! 🙏🏽
Where do you watch the games?
For Sharpe I use Synergy
KINGS AS #4 THO?
I’m happy for them
Yeah dope pickup
Ivey has proven himself against top-tier talent. I havre concerns about Sharpe’s lack of experience against good competition, but he definitely has a high ceiling.
What team would you see being his best fit ?
PDX
He'll look good next to Cade Cunningham
OKC
PG13 x Bradley Beal = Shaedon Sharpe
I'd choose Mathurin, Murray, Jackson, Duren and maybe even A.J. Griffin over him. I expect #Ivey,#Smith,#3Bachero,#4🙏 Sharpe,#5 Holmgren,#6 Mathurin, Murray, Duren or Jackson to my Pacers.
I can wait til my Thunder take Jabari at 2 and then Shaedon at 4 when we trade up
What will they give for the 4th?
You give us SGA and we’re done with the deal here.
Oof. This is eye opening
Very low IQ, most of all he doesn't let the game come to him. He also has this nonchalant/idc type attitude. Quick, but never aggressive. Great shot mechanics, takes terrible shots.
Tbf this was some criticisms about Ant Edwards too. Some didnt even think he liked basketball. His body of work was also deeper though.
@@Kosher93 Kid ain't no Ant Man. Edwards is from the trenches, this kid is from Canada. Canada produces a lot of talent now but they have a rep of being kinda soft save for a few like Jamal Murray for example. But being 6'6 with his ability to create his own shot and athleticism will be enough for him to go in the top 10.
U saying he has very low IQ based off this says somn bout your iq
BIGGEST BUST
Really?
Being an Oregonian, we don’t openly talk about the Bowie curse 🫣🫣🫣
