Ackera will get better as the season progresses. That was an obvious false start though. Just get through qualifiers and am rooting for her to be on the podium.

@jonepic8100 Outdoor season hasn't begun yet , however she ran a 11.67 last year,and she ran a 23.33 indoors this year . Faster than any of your Jamaican girls. Hell that 11.67 she ran last year is faster than most of your Jamaican boys in class 3 and 4.

Twins went through Covid restrictions and Tina had no competition after class 4 ...
once she got past her sis all she did was walk...granted class 3 was just run for your life attitude with no form as Doggett is doing rite now.
But changes are commin n next few years both physically and mentally. ..thats where u get a greater understanding what the deal is.
@15 Tina was denied running champs class 1 God knows what would happen. Class 2 n 3 nothn to push her.

I think Jamaica's problem is that the athletes are missing the off-season training. If you look at the athletes who we know train every day, Halloway, and Gabby, they start the season in competitive form.
I think it's was because the American athlete didn't leave the block at all.....his feet still remained on the blocks while for Nugent, she pretty much left the blocks before everyone else and way before the gun went off

I was giving Ackera the benefit of the doubt coming out of Paris, where she pulled off the track. Now back to back false start in Boston and NY. Plus, she looked scared on her face. She isn't ready to rumble. Hope her coach gets her a sports psychologist.

You’re joking right? All false starts aren’t the same especially in a non championship meet.
What the guy did was the exact same thing nugent did last week and got a green card for. If he jumped out the starting position it would not make sense to give him a green card.
Not to mention this is nugent second offense in as many weeks. She’s literally compounding her strikes.
And can you name the times when their were favoritism towards the Americans in America when it comes to false starts or you’re trying to put up a victim mindset.
Cuz if there was favoritism it would have happened at the world championship in 2022 when the American false started 0.01 seconds of the starting pistol and they still disqualified him.
