The Nature Critters Hotel 1 | Tragedy

- Hello Everyone! Oakley here. I was going shopping at a thrift store with my mom, and I found this strange box near the back of the store labeled, "The Nature Critters Hotel". It had a few VHS tapes in it, so I obviously had to buy it. I've asked a few people from the area if they have heard anything about this place, and most of them say that they don't. A few of them said that some awful things happened there at one point, but they didnt give me much information. As for this tape, It was pretty hard piecing all of the clips together, and there was lots of sound errors, but it seems to be fully fixed now.

Alright, some praises, some criticisms.
Let's start with what you did really well. The entire second half of the video (bar the last minute, I'll get to that later) was extremely well done. It did an excellent job at building up atmosphere with the break in as they explore the hotel at night, the VA's did an excellent job, and most notably the final scare of the newspaper fading in while Spencer's(?) screams fade in was seriously bone-chilling. The scene of the employee fixing Snowy before getting killed was really well animated as well. Along with that, I've never seen anyone use Martin Wall's art style as inspiration for their art in an analog horror series before, and I think you knocked it out of the park with the designs. While Snowy is just pretty alright in all honesty, that one wolf animatronic who was shadowed in darkness was really creepy, and I can't wait to see more of them!
Now as for the criticisms, the entire first half of the video was nearly one to one with the first episode of the Walten Files. Being inspired is one thing, but the introduction, order of events (background of company introductory tape, video of robots performing, showcase of the establishment, cut over to a slideshow about the animatronics and features of the company, cut to an employee fixing an animatronic, employee dies to animatronic, thanks for watching tape), and even the scares were extremely similar, the only large difference was the lack of an in universe cartoon (which there being a large difference a good thing, to be clear). I've seen in one of your replies that you want to distance yourself from The Walten Files and FNAF, and that's a really good thing to do if you want to stand out, but with this kind of video style being so close to Martin's I wouldn't be surprised if people thought this was a fanwork that took place in the Walten Files universe. The last minute as well, with a cartoonish image of a fisherman speaking in reverse on a black background, was similarly identical to another scare in The Walten Files' first episode.
I really do want to see more of this series though, I'm definitely going to keep a look out for when this channel posts. Have a good day!

This is absolutely amazing! Sure there have been animatronic horror stories like FNAF and the Walten Files but this is actually terrifying. The design of the animatronics, the atmosphere, and the sound design is superb. I can’t wait to see how this series progresses and I can’t wait to see you get even better in the future! Can’t wait to see more!

I just wanted to say THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. But I just wanted to ask what version of "Home" you used at 0:45 and what text to speach did you use in the backwards message at the end? Just cuz I was thinking on using some of it in my analogue horrors that I make
I searched up "When shadows fall" and found a channel with old records. I just added a lo-fi voice filter to it. The tts i used for the reversed message was "Online Microsofrt sam TTS Generator. Glad you enjoyed!

BTW the screams was sooo well done they were more nightmare fuel then Ashleys screams from TWF to me just the bone crushing sounds ate just teriffying it sounds like lims being ripped of how did you do thoose they sound so real and after watching this i can say i have a very good feeling for the upcoming episodes and the seires in general! Good job to you and the team💙

Aside from that joke I actually do really like this. I think it has potential. All I can really say is you can take this in a similar direction to the walten files. but remember that you can also do your own thing. +1 subscriber

This video has an incredible atmosphere, the wooden interior of the place along with the sound design is great.
The animatronics could use some work though, they are just the same cookie cutter animatronic designs every twf based series uses.
I see potential in this series, I think you could use this episode as a “pilot” of sorts and fix some minor issues in the future episodes, excited to see what you do next! :)
