This was originally a song by Arthur 'Big Boy' Crudup, pretty sure he always gave Crudup credit for it though
There's Elvis '50's. there's Elvis '60's and there's Elvis '70's. There's Elvis Blues, there's Elvis country, there's Elvis pop, there's Elvis rock, there's Elvis gospel. Four out of these 5 he's in the Hall Of Fame. The only one to EVER do that. There's over 600 songs and it's going to be a long journey. Here's how he got discovered. He walked in the Sun Studio Records to make a record for his mom's birthday, it was coming in Aug. of '54. He wanted to give her a SPECIAL gift. And this is, I believe the song, he recorded for her. It's going to be all right mama- I'm about to become a multi-multi-multi-multi millionaire. I'm about the biggest the Biggest Star the World has EVER known in the music industry. No more eating rice and beans, no more struggling to pay the bills. Thank you, thank you Very Much!!!!!!!
Hi.... He's been inducted into all 5 halls of fame. It's on Google. 👍🥇
1. Rock 'n Roll
2. Gospel
3. Rockabilly
4. Country
5. R & B
@@Wildlife_SA. Oh well, great--he deserves it. Nothing but the King!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic performance. There's so much electricity and vibes on that small stage! You can't sit still when Elvis starts to rock! He's definitely the No. 🥇 singer in the world. Enjoyed your reaction. Please react to Lawdy Miss Clawdy at this same '68 Comeback Special. Thank you. 👍🤗💖
It all began for him with this song (and recording) in 1954 (age 19). It became a huge local hit in Memphis and eventually sparked interest in him throughout the region. Things developed from there and within 15 months or so he had become the hottest act in the country.
This is the song that started Rock & Roll.
It is hillbilly rock 1954.
Primeiro acustico da tv ❤️❤️❤️
Hi MsBerry! I’m commenting here because your comments were turned off of your reaction to Angelina Jordan. I loved your reaction, but I HAD to tell you…
Angelina’s birthday is in FOUR days! She will turn seventeen this Tuesday, January 10!
Please do a special reaction to Angelina on her birthday. ❤️❤️❤️👣👣👣
Omg it’s off!??? Thank you so much for telling me. I literally have NO idea why they keep changing my settings for her videos. I’ll go fix it!! 💜💜💜💜
BTW, if you are someone who came here because you are an Elvis fan but aren’t familiar with Angelina Jordan, do yourself a favor and check out her cover of Elvis’ “Suspicious Minds”. I bet you’ll love it but beware… the “Angelina Jordan” rabbit hole is vast and deep! You’ll be hooked listening to “the most beautiful voice of the twenty first century “!
Which I also reacted to. Check out my channel 🙃💜
Your comments are turned off on Angelina Jordan's video.
RUclips for some reason KEEPS turning them off. It’s annoying. Thank you SO much for letting me know this!!
Elvis CONSTANTLY sang, after shows, he would have his background singers, The Sweet Inspirations, come and sing gospel songs all night. Many times at home, it would be him at the piano singing for hours. Mostly gospel.
