Totally fascinating and he oozes light and passion. It would be very special to watch him conduct one day!

My aunt bought a Kathleen Battle Christmas CD when I was about maybe 11. I was mesmerized. Then a Bartoli CD also when I was about 13 or 14. Always fascinated with the refined sound and orchestral music. Even though I couldn't stand classical piano pieces I was learning for piano lessons. I loved the sonority of voices.

He's one of my favorites conductors, my favorite Master Piece of him is 2011 Tchaikovsky: The Nutcracker.

    How utterly empty.

Shallow, showy, self-centered, SMALL. Small man, small music-making. The sad part is that, with the "woke" conductor hiring that's happening now, people like Dudamel or Nézet-Séguin will look good in ten years. Sad Brave New World!

How is the existence of a gay conductor 'woke'? Gay people exist and their existence isn't a political agenda. He's an incredible conductor and his sexuality has nothing to do with it. You sound shallow, ignorant, bitter, and homophobic. Cope.

The cocoons in the audience are poisonous presences. And even radio has become an UN-'influencer'. With music, I'm a different person. And I can't even read a score. The rapping is a riot of bedworms and no-talent.
