Very True. My Great Grandpa never finished 6th grade (he was pulled out to work on his family farm) but he ended up becoming a mechanical engineer for the military during world war 2. After the war he ended up opening his own machine shop with my Grandpa. The shop was a succes and he eventually sold it when he was 80 and decided it was time to retire. So again you are very correct just because you are a professor doesn't mean your smarter then a un- schooled person.
This is a good song to listen to while you work some shit job for the city picking up litter and taking out trash for businesses. I would spend hours with my head down just sweeping up cigarette butts, broken glass, and all other kinds of trash. People are slobs, it didn't matter if it was the broke down part of downtown or the nice part. Every day it was the same thing, head down staring at cracked cement, cleaning up the streets. For what though? Its not like any one gave a shit, if anything seeing me out there picking it up gave them more of an excuse to be lazy slobs and just throw shit on the ground. This album got me through those times. Fuck people. Animals.
Hey, I know how you feel, but can I just say Thank you for keeping a part of our world a nicer place to be in, I know what its like to work a Thankless job but guess what? Its thanks to people like you we have nice looking streets, somebody has to do it, you know what happens when people don't take pride in their area, the place turns in to a dump, it may seem like nobody gives a shit, but I'm glad for one, that people are doing this, to make the environment a better place.. I wish those who worked so hard at the bottom did get paid a little bit more however, but life's not always fair.
Back when Breez Evahflowin made tracks and shit! I bet he linked up with Tech after Scribble Jam 2003 but I'm just guessin...used to bump this joint all the time in high school man...early-mid 2000s underground hip hop CARRIED the culture in those times.
Fucking amazing, his ability to take a totally out there "unorthodox" beat, and just slay it like he breaths, eats, and sleeps this shit. Definite props to IT, he is one of the real prophets of our generation, may his voice be heard above the noise of hatred, and greed. We need more people willing to speak out, and make their message be heard like this.
This guy's got the idea... No matter what religion you belong to, the heart of it is tolerance and love. Yes, Christianity and Co. teach that other religions are wrong, but they also teach true followers to love non-believers like their own brothers. Peace isn't exclusive to your religion or race. Love is an entity outside of boundaries or labels.
I don't comment often, in fact this is among one of my first after years of youtube... but this song touches me in a way that no other song ever has. Immortal Technique knows his politics and his history, a pure genius. book and street smart. So much meaning behind this and I'm grateful for his truthful messages.
@badbrainaj im a young nigga from new york...mad respect old man, from across the ocean!! everybody take notice....this is really revolutionary. age, race, nation, none of that shit matters...we all in this together!! this guy is right, we all need to do a lot more listening...and thinking...
I know its fucked up but I used to fall asleep to dance with the devil and this song along with some atmosphere as a 13 year old kid … 13 years later I know every god damn word shit got me feelin
You make me feel like there's actualy still some good out there! you have all of my Respect bro! you are my Idol! keep spreading the word ill spread it with you!
hes sick of the way people in the world are ,he has skill, talent and a voice. he has a generation that has open ears and open minds and some great music.
I'm atheist, but I also believe that we're all human, we all deserve respect, love and care from each other, some of my closest comrades are religious, and I respect that.
nothing about negativity to you mister top comment. the song is meant to be positive and wake people up. i respect all peoples beliefs... until it comes to going back a few thousand years.... we could talk about witch trials... the crusades... all of which by todays moral standards are rediculous... but what does tht come back to. religion has been dividing people for long before i was born. but thatis not what i am here to do.i am justhappy people get to hear a good song. =)
This song was made a good two years before production of that commercial even began. The piece you're thinking of is The Ecstasy of Gold by composer Ennio Morricone.
Love each other, learn from each other, dont attack each other, explain to each other why you disagree or have different ideas, approach each with love, answer hatred with love, p[atience and understanding, love all, never give hate what keeps it alive, that being more hate. Love thy neighbour inspite of all differences
thanks man, its hard to get people to understand when they have been force fed there ideals on government, when they cant step back and look at how and why governments and society function.
Most people dont know him but can you blame them. How can you know someone you have never heard of and IT doesnt make it easy for people to find his music unless you know what you'r looking for.
Immortal doesn't give a fuck. Infact he has established that he prefers being underground. In that sense, he gets 100 percent control over his material and thus can speak his two cents without anyone telling him that he needs to censorize it more.
Never heard this before, was great.. Epic that he used Ecstasy Of Gold as the beat for the track =) Metallica allways use this as their intro at conserts
It's based off of Ennio Morricone's "Ecstasy of Gold" from the movie "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly". Trust me, if you search it on youtube you'll find it.
man.. this is pure dope, this is amazing.. I cannot believe that a simple human, mortal, moldu.. did this ! this is a perfect combination of every sound that exist.. god bless this shit !
Immortal is a legendary rapper - he makes everyone else look like incomplete beings like single celled organisms compared to a full fledged mammal

The core for this beat is The ecstasy of gold by Ennio Morricone
yeah right!
Love it!
The plot of the good bad and ugly.

I first heard it from a game called Wild Arms, then heard the immortal technique sample then found out it was from the good bad and ugly.

That's the point. Everyone thinks it's stupid when you bring up Zeus or Wodan, but for God or Allah, suddenly we gotta be respectful.

@Omedelbart8 its called 'the ecstacy of gold" from the classic film "the good the bad and the ugly". it obviously sounds familiar.
