The Shinkansen was amazing just watched the movie The Bullet Train last night actually after a Japanese friend of mine told me about it. He mentioned that they are building a even faster train using mag-lev tech and will travel at around 500km/h go between Osaka and Tokyo. He just came back from Japan but he was out in the country doing a walk/hike up in the mountains to some very beautiful temples that at one point only the Japanese Imperial family could go and has a walking trail for about 1000yrs. So amazing all the history.
