Great stuff Rob,😊, unlike a lot o fishermen I look forward to winter, grayling are a great fighting fish,,I fish the Isla , meigle area, some toppers,,had 4 pounder last season boot broke my 3#😅, great vid bud 💪
Looked like a great trip, and good craic, mate. Loved the tunes. Heard of The Mary Wallopers? Play a lot of the old classics with a new style energy to it, I'm sure you'll like them. Slanj.
I've never been jealous of another angler till I started watching your video's. And your just taking the piss now. Duck a l'orange cooked in a van.... I'm secretly hoping you blank in the morning.... lol.
Great video again Rob! Only thing I would say is, try and strike/play your fish with the rod down stream.. I've found it alot easier to land fish pointing my rod down stream, as soon as I turn the rod upstream they seem to pop off like what happend to you a few times ✌️
Cheers, good advice you're right I will keep that in mind. I did find that on my first outing thinking back on it. I will be out again so will put it into practice hopefully.
Sometimes less is more Billy there was a lot already going on in there but yes it is true I am a tight arse and shop in lidel. Not that lidel is even cheap anymore!
Hey buddy how are the new waders working out ? The duck dinner looked great. Wish we had grayling here I’ve only caught a couple when over with Phil . Hope you and your family have a great Christmas
Many thanks, I'm no authority on the merits of fishing tackle mate but I can tell you the line I was using my dry dropper rod was a Snowbee XS and it casts nicely in my eyes. I use a 5wt line on my 4wt rod which helps to cast the heavy nymphs. On my euronymphing rod I was using a tapered mono leader from Tain Flyfishing.
Fantastic as always Rob, grayling are such stunning fish. The till is a river i always wanted to fish but never got round to, is that classed as upper, middle or lower Till?
Cheers Paul, I've been the same with the Till too, next year I must make an effort to fish it for sea trout. That was one of two Northumberland Anglers Federation stretches near Wooler as Ryan said.

Hi Phil, well I'm not as mobile but at least they're keeping me dry. Seasons greetings to you and yours too. Did you get my email about your flybox?
Rob great video thanks from Ireland 🇮🇪 would you do a review on the fly lines you use on your rods 👍👍

It’s just outside of Wooler so I’d say it’s a middle river beat
