Thanks John and I hope it all works out. Electronic glitches are allways hard to figure out.

was that your neighbors boat that you put the 80kw motor into? that you’re running at 44kw? what happened??

      Yup!
      Correct, project 286.
To be honest it was never meant to run at 80kW, that was just the max continuous power that that particular motor could run comfortably😊 A bit clickbait from our side😉😅 The boat itself would probably not like 80kW either, since the little 2 cylinder that was on there only output like 45-50hp, so we decided that putting 44kW (59hp) was a good sweet spot. It gave the owner an extra 10 hp, and kept the batteries and ESC nice and cool. If the owner ever wants more power, the only hardware that would limit him are the batteries. If they upgrade those, then the motor and ESCs will happily deliver up to 80kW of power... Scary😅
As for what happend... We are not really sure... All we know is that it seems to be a BMS issue, that eventually caused all sorts of issues. We are still working on it, and are right now waiting on some parts. Now even if this was a custom build this is of course being replaced under warranty, so don't worry, we are trying our best to take care of our customer even though he sadly can't use his airboat ATM🥲
Thanks for commenting & stopping buy again Terry!
      Have a good one🍻
