Drummers being out of time give me a migraine lol. That’s why I like Tommy Lee so much. He may not have had the most difficult licks but there was never EVER a time where he didn’t keep perfect timing
Great energy and powerful drumming. Good going on navigating through all the changes. My fave Motley Crue tune, used to play this selection on the table mini jukebox at the local pizzeria for a nickel.
Man I was so glad to see you covered this song. As soon as I saw your video I didn't need to look any further. Your Aerosmith Love in an elevator has helped me tremendously and now I look to the right and see you have another video I need to add to the setlist practice videos. Thank you again!
Great cover once again spot on. I also love the Animal from the Muppet Show on your drum kit cause you drum like an animal !!!!! ROCK ON !!!! BTW are you from Quebec ?
lacqpa thanks again! Yeah Animal has been with me for many years. I'm born and raised in New England but my grandfather was from Quebec and I have visited Montreal and Quebec City many times. Merci \m/
Actually I do use a double pedal! In this video I am using an Axis AL-2 Double Pedal but have since gone back to DW9000 double. I much prefer the feel from the DW as I grew up using a 5000 series. I try to use the double only when necessary as to not lose the single kick technique but many of the metal songs I like to play require doubles! Thanks for checking my channel out :)
I loved the video! congratulations! Could you talk about the equipment you used to record? any interface? ezdrummer? I want to start my channel soon so I would also like to know which cameras did you used to shoot, and how do you shoot with aerial view? Thanks!
The TD-30 has 14 inputs and I use them all! I’m not sure if you could add inputs but I would search on an Alesis forum. Maybe they offer a separate unit to expand. Cheers
The TD20 and TD30 cannot play external one shot samples. I believe the new TD50 can however. I currently use my TD30 to trigger Super Drummer software but the sounds on this cover were all created internally!
Every track that has been covered by Mike Fournier has been completely on point, He definetely has studied his Crue and doesn't disapoint
Thanks brother! Tommy Lee was a huge influence on me as a teen. Still love his kick ass sound!
@@mfournier01No problem brother keep on being you with the kick ass video covers & i'll keep supporting 'em.....
Good $hit Man…!!!
Man this took me down a rabbit hole of hairband history. Wow...
One of the very best covers of this song EVER!
I need a cigarette after watching this cover:-)
monicka lynn if you liked this, check out my "Wild Side" ;)
Spot on, man. Fantastic!
Great drum cover. Also love how you can switch your left and right hand with hitting the snare and high hat
Dude, that...was...on...point 🤘🔥
Finally a cover with the right timing! All other covers they F'ed up with that... not you! AWESOME!
Drummers being out of time give me a migraine lol. That’s why I like Tommy Lee so much. He may not have had the most difficult licks but there was never EVER a time where he didn’t keep perfect timing
Wow, what great sound! Kick ass high energy cover, man! I've been kinda wanting to do some Crue lately myself. Excellent editing too! Love this.
+Jason Ozant (Beats By Jay) Would love to see you bust out a Motley Crue tune. I'm sure you could find a monster kit sound out of that SSD pack!
Damn. I watched this song, now I got to watch them all 🤘
Awesome!!! Tommy Lee in da house.
Cool! I really want to learn how to play a big drumset like this since I only play on a snare drum for now
You can do it!
Wow.! Killer job.
Awesome drumming brother!
Thank you sir!

You and Play drums only are by far the best on YT. without a doubt.
Wow that’s a huge compliment! Thanks Door kicker!
@@mfournier01 , I was hair band in the 80s. Traveled all over. Had to get it right. You got that "thing". Man I could tell you some stories.😂
Doorkicker C.M.P. Same here. Played mainly in CT, NY, MA but had a blast and some crazy memories. Good times!
Awesome cover! Love this track!
Thanks for checking it out Tom! How long have you been playing electronics?
Awesome playing! 👍🏽
I aspire to play like you someday!
Thank you Jerrod! Passion and dedication will get you there and beyond! Go for it!!

Can you do a drum cover Great White, Rock me?
I never really got into Great White. Not sure why. Maybe I’ll give them a listen thanks!
Thank You ! Merci beaucoup ....

Couldn't help but notice you don't use a double bass drum pedal setup, kudos to you!

Did someone say FUCK YEAH?
+TDRolandTD Ummmm, FUCK YEAH! There...I said it too :) \m/
🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏👊
awsome cover man but you need to drop more queensryche lol keep it up
+chris gonzalez Even I need a break from the Ryche once in awhile Chris. I am working on a collab that will make up for it soon! Stick around
+mfournier01 it's cool man just messing around but I will definitely be waiting
legit sounds more badass than the original because the drums are louder
Damnit it all!\m/
+monicka lynn Hahaha. Does that mean you liked it?
+mfournier01 Damn straight,lol:-)
How do you add extra pieces to your electric kit? I use an Alesis Crimson pro but there’s no more plugins.
The TD-30 has 14 inputs and I use them all! I’m not sure if you could add inputs but I would search on an Alesis forum. Maybe they offer a separate unit to expand. Cheers
You can put ddrum sound on Roland TD?
The TD20 and TD30 cannot play external one shot samples. I believe the new TD50 can however. I currently use my TD30 to trigger Super Drummer software but the sounds on this cover were all created internally!
@@mfournier01 I don't remember if the ddrum samples are in wav or something. But with a that you have the Tomy lee sounds
Man what's it cost for a killer kit like that??
I’ve pieced this one together over the years but if you were to buy it new I would guess to be around $7500-$8500
exelent cover
ok where do you get the sheet music for all these songs ??
I play by ear! I can read sheet music but usually can pick out the drums after a few listen throughs...
Which drum is that? Pls
Roland TD-20x V-Drums. I have since upgraded to the TD-30

I am not positive, but I think Tommy might ride double time on the hi hat during the chorus.
joeg816 yeah because I'm sure he was doing this just to impress you

The fade editing was a bad idea, great playing tho
