Greg, so happy to see a new video from you and extra happy its of #399 and new coy. Although I'm very fond of bear 480 (Otis), of Katmai, there is no lovelier, graceful, foerce bear, in the lower 48 states as 399. The sumerset coy does just makes my day! I guess he/she was showing off for you.

Thank you ! Old queen has one baby ? She will have to play with him/her. Il will also be exhausting... Can you, please, remaind me how old is she ? If I remember well, she had once a cub Snowy, killed on the road, then, the next year emerged with twins. You must well know the family story and all the members. 610 is her daugher too, I think. Whishing well old queen and her photographer too !
When a sow has more than one cub, the other cubs become the playmates. When a sow has only one cub the sow becomes the playmate. I wonder if being the only cub changes how it's raised as far as discipline is concerned? Does the cub act differently as an adult than when cubs are raised with other cubs? Partly thinking about how some of her past cubs have been killed. I think one was killed down below Bondurant because a landowner said it wouldn't respond to hazing. Looks like 399 has a broken canine tooth. I was looking at pictures I took of her trying to see if her teeth were wearing down considering her age.
