  • The Jamaica Canadian Association, Toronto acknowledges the National Anthems
Toronto, being a city within the province of Ontario, Canada, does not have its own separate national anthem. The national anthem of Canada, "O Canada," is the anthem that represents the entire country, including Toronto. "O Canada" is played and sung on various occasions across Toronto, such as sporting events, official ceremonies, and other national or patriotic gatherings, to symbolize unity and pride in Canada as a whole.
Toronto does have a city song called "The Toronto Song" or "A Place to Stand" which was originally composed for the opening ceremonies of the 1967 International and Universal Exposition, commonly known as Expo 67, in Montreal. The song celebrates Toronto as a vibrant and diverse city and was associated with a short film showcasing the city's attractions and multiculturalism.
