If you are funded 100k with 10% max drawdown you are essentially funded 10k. Mirror that by having at least 10k in your personal account. 1m fundend =100k personal ect. Prop firms are still the best way to raise capital. They take away the need to flip accounts.
It's so true. I flip accounts and must say it could suck at times 😂😂😂
kimmel its very misleading to say brokers are same as propfirms. most brokers are regulated which means they would loose license if they dont pay you while propfirms are not regulated and can easily deny payouts without repercussions. lets not forget kimmel is the same guy who went back to true forex funds after all the red flags when they came back briefly. Do your own due diligence people.
The goal is to use them to build your own personal account.
Lost 400k in funding with TTF, been with them for 2 years.
They were my favourite and I loved everything about that firm, it's such a shame.
Working on passing my prop account, then going to put some of my payouts in my personal and trade those at the same time 💡

The goal is to be able to utilize both.I will continue to trade forex and futures. For forex (CFDs) i will start swing trading so that I have good time scalping with futures prop firms.swing trades will prevent breakage of rules at least to be on the safe side if you want both to work.
What stops me from breaking rules is 1 trade per session

It's just better to transfer all the money you make to your personal and never be fully dependant on none of these props and brokers. Future brokers will be getting alot of new clients.

Alpha and FTMO hmmm build on a small challenge then max all the way each prop on top of each other ....start small increment on that and scale up !

I am looking to just max out Alpha Capital and FTMO, im also looking at Darwin X. growing a personal account will take time for me so a few $100 per month would be great
The personal account is the one to grow, you have to invest in it a lot and just use Risk Management risking 1% to 3% per setup

🦒Easy Kimmel, my aim now is to use the rest of the year to implement my my strategy, my approach and really build a my playbook. Anything to do with capital at this point , I'll worry about next year and just focus on improving my health, work , trading and gyming 👌🏽

So take a step back and refine your skills before even attempting a prop firm, this will only transfer to a live scenario

You need to develop multiple sources of income from full time work, trading business, rental properties and investments to achieve financial independence or fire. Don't waste money on expensive cars, drive something cheap and reliable or delay fire by a least a decade.
