And in Ghost Game, Quantamon was actually protected by BloomLordmon acting as a sort of guardian Gate Keeper, so Quantamon does have some more plant Digimon connections there
I really like your choices for the Crest of Light. Mimi's crest is called Sincerity in the dub but it is called Purity in the sub, so Light continuing those themes of making a "pure" line because after all generally light purifies in media and the themes were absolutely on point. Absolutely 10/10, the best line in this video.
For the light line, I was thinking either Raffleisimon or Lotosmon, both are Fairy Digimon and known for doing good. Lotosmon has this more magical side and her ruffles could be an attempt at angel wings. On the other hand Rafflesimon seems to have some kind of holografic/light power, bc in it's official art it projects Rafflesias in the air.
Argomon could be a good option for knowledge evolution as it is a combination of plants and technology, which definitely reflects the intelligence aspect of the crest

The reason that it has the Crest of Light on it is a reference to a line from the Bahir which states: "Sixth is the adorned, glorious, delightful throne of glory, the house of the world to come. Its place is engraved in wisdom as it says 'God said: Let there be light, and there was light.'"

It has healing attacks like Angewomon and Lillymon, is still a fairy like Liliamon and Lillymon / Rosemon, it still has the blonde hair and white clothes that made Rosemon Burst a good option, and has mythological connections to Greek mythology like AncientTroiamon. That way it ties hope and light together as counterparts to each other. Even if Light is normally tied to other mythologies.
What these videos have shown me is how much more interesting the digimon anime would have been if the digidestined had mixed and matched their crests and armor eggs.
My ideas that I came up with after the Greymon video (Posted before watching this vid) Courage- Petaldramon/Ancient Troiamon Friendship- Ghilldhumon/Tlalocmon Love- Lilamon/Ceresmon medium Knowledge- Jyagamon/Eldoradimon Reliability- Blossomon/Algomon Mega (had a sea weed theme in mind) Hope- Cherrymon/Cernumon Light- Weddingmon/Lotusmon
Oh, and for the Light line, I decided to go with Piximon for the Ultimate, and Quantumon for the Mega. Piximon may seem weird, but it's also a Fairy type Digimon, and it shares all three fields with Togemon (Jungle Troopers, Nature Spirits, and Wind Guardians).
I love this series. The ways to try to build thematic lines is so much fun and part of what I love about Digimon as a series. I appreciate you having fun with the lines!

lilamon having white lilacs for hands and rosemon burst having white roses is a nice connection to light since the color white in flowers is linked to innocence and purity, oft associated with light and goodness.
I like the idea of Rosemon Burst Mode being the mega for the Crest of Light works perfectly when you give a sort of context that the bond between Mimi and Kari allowed Togemon to become Rosemon, and the Crest of Light further amplified the evolution to turn into Burst Mode, as if both of their crests sugercharged the Digivolution, this would then allow Mimi to fight at a power level somewhat equivalent to Omnimon, as in the TCG Rosemon Burst Mode and Omnimon are Lvl 7.
I think if Survive can use Ceresmon Medium as a de facto Mega, we can use Rosemon: Burst Mode here. She's the superior Rosemon, anyway. (This also backs my agenda of using Beelzemon: Blast Mode as a de facto Mega, which Impmon kind of does by the end of Tamers.)
Another theme with Togemon to Ajatarmon to AncientTroiamon is combat sophistication. It goes from a boxer to a warrior weilding weapons to a full on tank ready for war.

I don’t know if you used it in the Gatomon video, but I think for the crest of light here, Lotosmon fits really well as a mega. Reading on the wiki, it’s based on the flower that blooms in heaven, and it’s power to Grant healing restoration does give it a very angelic aspect

Solid choices all the way, even the "obvious" Digimon for the Crest of Love felt satistying. Also, I may be weird, but even though I recognize that Hydramon is a strange design, I always liked it. A big, scary, freaky, dangerous hydra Digimon with three heads, I feel it can be great as dark Digivolution, or a powerful enemy, or even a wild partner

Thunder element in the Crest of Friendship comes from being fast and sharp which is why Raidramon has those protrusions shaped like typical lightning and that blade imbedded in it's body. If you think about lightning in every other fantasy media you often see lightning being infused to weaponry, especially into blades of some sort to increase their ability to cut things down easier. In other words it's often thought in fantasy media that infusing lightning with for example a sword makes it sharper. Lightning is also often connected to being fast while ice as a type is thought to be more defensive yet somewhat fast as well. You can see the defensive side of the aspect of ice in Garurumon evolution line especially in MetalGarurumon but also in WereGarurumon. While WereGarurumon is not directly using any one certain style it is still tied into free form hand-to-hand combat and martial arts in a way and more than often kickboxing etc. are considered ways of defending yourself. As I said earlier ice is also often somewhat tied to being fast since you can either freeze your surroundings making others slower or freeze the ground for example to redure friction making things slippery and able to slide on surfaces (think about penguins sliding on ice to gain speed and hurling themselves into ocean for example). Both lightning and ice are associated with speed in one or the other way, lightning is considered to enhance sharpness and ice itself can create various objects varying in their shape and form either taking more defensive form or leaning towards being sharp and harming.
This is great, I wonder when will you do the next top tier video? I don’t really know how many new Digimon Digimon Liberator will have, then there’s the four fearsome beasts in Digimon New Century that we have yet to see.
I'd probably go with Lotusmon for Light. Her signature move Seven's Fantasia is a Light element in Cyber Sleuth, and she's known for healing abilities as well, technically burst modes are considered level 7 in the card game anyway. I like Rosemon BM visually but I think Lotusmon works well too. though you might have used that one for Gatomon with Sincerity i don't remember.
Maybe they aren’t exact (and my knowledge of Digimon is limited enough for me to admit that I could be wrong), but Rosemon & Rosemon Burst Mode seem to have the crest of Light ON their “pearls” (Rosemon’s chest area and Burst Mode… bubbles?) I like this evolution choice!
Hey Karn, I know the channel mostly does this kind of videos on the anime and that the videos about anime content probably do better, but could we get some more of this type of content on some other Digimon media? I really like the Survive cast and would really like to see some of these different evolution lines explored or maybe which crest would they get and how they would evolve with them, maybe something with the cast from games such as Cyber Sleuth / Hacker's Memory or different media like Liberator and so on
an evil digidestined with a hydramon. uses said hydramon as a transport. super dramatic first encounter where the hydramon shows up, scares the heroes, then opens up the hydrussy for the evil digidestined to step out and give his evil speech. steps backwards back into said wet cave for hydramon to close and run off

I think for crest of light, a better line would be Togemon to Kinkakumon to Bloom Lordmon. Here me out. Despite the fact that Kinkakumon is an Adult/Champion, we've seen many cases of digimon being several different levels - such as the spirit digimon - She shows a lot of the aspects we want from a Parallel line, Kinkakumon has femininity, maintains the thorns in the form of her club, and she is clad in gold, which can often tie together with light as a concept. This would then go to Bloom Lordmon in that you get a Knight in "shining" armor, whose taken in the shining light in the form of chlorophyl, and become a plant knight.

Dinomon is more in line as a nod to Godzilla if you pay close attention to the dorsal spines on it's back.
Using Entmon for the Crest of Knowledge was pretty clever. And of course Ceresmon just clicks for Togemon

Hydramon is probably based on the Godzilla monster Biolante.
And we know Japan loves referencing Godzilla.
I would go with Lotusmon as the Light Crest Mega, mainly because of how the lotus flower is used in Hindism, Buddhism and other Asian faiths.
Shogungeckomon also has a connection to Mimi not necessarily a positive one, but the connection exists.
I can’t remember if you’ve used Rafflesimon before, but if you haven’t, I think it would be a pretty good Light mega
For the crest of light mega, why not Lotusmon? It works with the pink team and would make a good connection with the original mega
blast mode does work for the crest of light considering the orbs almost have the crest on it
I think that Bloomlordmon goes well with the crest of hope, or light
I think the Knowledge Crest in this case could represent "Forbidden Knowledge" such as Necromancy

I think for crest of light, a better line would be Togemon to Kinkakumon to Bloom Lordmon. Here me out.
Despite the fact that Kinkakumon is an Adult/Champion, we've seen many cases of digimon being several different levels - such as the spirit digimon - She shows a lot of the aspects we want from a Parallel line, Kinkakumon has femininity, maintains the thorns in the form of her club, and she is clad in gold, which can often tie together with light as a concept. This would then go to Bloom Lordmon in that you get a Knight in "shining" armor, whose taken in the shining light in the form of chlorophyl, and become a plant knight.
