I know a lot of people interpret this as Crowley being made aware of his feelings for the first time, but personally I don't think that's it. Crowley, to me, seems self-aware enough to know he loves Aziraphale and has known that for a long time. I think he's just never considered his feelings in the human context that Nina applies to them in this scene. He and Aziraphale have been dancing around each other for millennia but have never stopped to try to define what their relationship is or even what they want it to be. After being cut off by their head offices, they just slipped into a routine that felt comfortable for them without ever talking about it. And I think Nina's commentary is really what makes Crowley start thinking about their relationship more critically. He knows he loves Aziraphale, but SHE'S the one who plants the seeds of romance in his mind. And Crowley and Aziraphale have both learned so much from humanity over the years that I think it's only natural that he'd start wondering whether earthly ideas of romance could apply to their relationship.
He knows. He’s always known I think… but only subconsciously- now someone brings it up and he’s like oh sh*t. Exactly the same happened with me and my best buddy. Nine years on- still together. 😊
I think Crowley just learned the Earth-people-context of what he has been feeling for Zira. Like “Oh we act like a couple in a commitment, I thought we just act like what we are: an Angel and Demon friends. Huh...” Just like he learned in the hard way, that kissing was not a solving-all-act on Earth 😭 You can’t just miracle love like Zira miracled in the cherries for his cake during lockdown 😂🥹
I think he probably thinks of love as a weird human thing and doesn't know what it actually means for humans. So when Nina assumed they were in a love relationship, he kind of went "wait, so that's what this feeling is called? That's what love means?" That's just my interpretation though.

I know it seems that way, but I figured Crowley always knew he loved Aziraphale, probably even as way back as Eden (or at least intrigued back then and thought he'd like to know this strange angel better). Wasn't that the point in the 1960s when he was told to slow down, and the whole "pretending that we aren't" and "the last few years, not really"? It seems he knows that he knows, and he knows Aziraphale knows, but that they just don't talk about it because repressed emotions and trauma, and also being non-human, love is a human thing, a complicated thing. Then again, a part of me wonders if I'm entirely wrong, because perhaps he's always known something was there, but didn't understand it. His knowledge of love is ripped from a movie about people looking at each other's eyes in the rain after all.

I saw people mention that Crowley in the book sometimes hisses like a snake when he forgets himself (which I still have to read myself). I didn’t notice tv Crowley doing that elsewhere, but maybe he does here. A hiss that expresses his inner turmoil.
Though it’s funny Az trying to speak French it doesn’t make much sense. Maybe if it was a different language but French used to be as popular as English is now (in Europe anyway) It was the main language for writing so you’d think Az would know it for that alone
Ok, personally ive never been a fan of when a person has to walk up to someone whos obviosuly a couple, and has to point out “oh, u look like a couple!” Dont get me wrong…Crowelys face is amaizng and he is amaizing and i love it! I just always felt that thjs was a weee bit forced scene, not his realization but the way Maggie said it, like she was determined to tell him, it was her only goal, and it fekt alittle contribed. Like, he said “oh nono its not like that” (which no it tottaly was lol), but she weirdy persists that oh yes it was, and it felt off, like if he and Maggie were friends and she told him this id buy it, but shes a stranger so i dont know it felt like she was only in this scene for the sole purpose of having Crowely come to terms with his feelings, which is great! but maybe her diolauge coukd have been alittle tightend/tweaked. (Ps cant wait for season 3 holly crap yes!)✨✨✨
I see your point, but that is part of who Nina is. She is a bit too blunt, sometimes a bit harsh (note her comments to Maggie about selling records) and she admits that, in a relationship, she is "a lot of hard work". She even dared to make a snarky remark about whether Aziraphale's comments make sense "inside your head" AFTER seeing him open a portal and take on demons. So whether she should voice her opinion or not, she is likely to do so.
