- Great cover (of cover) of the bluesrock title 'Hush' (orig. by Joe South) which became famous through Deep Purple, here played by the Swiss Rock Band GOTTHARD and special guest Mr. DP himself, Jon Lord on Hammond organ. Concert has been played at "Zermatt unplugged" on 11. April 2008.
This live video shows also a great performance from GOTTHARD's lead singer Steve Lee who untimely passed on 5th October 2010 in a accident near Mesquite (Nevada, US) during a motor bike trip with friends. Видеоклипы
The master of the hammonds and stevie amazing r.i.p. both
This is better than the garbage that is called music on the radio. This rocks .
Quando guardo questo video piango per la perdita di questi 2 grandi artisti: John Lord e Steve Lee. Massimo rispetto 🤩
Seeing Steve and Jon playing together brings tears into my eyes. Rest in PEACE!!!!!
Zwei großartige Musiker die leider nicht mehr unter uns weilen
R.I.P. para ambos ( Steve Lee & Jon Lord ) . Gran cover.
Das ist Musik für die Ewigkeit ruhe in Frieden Steve und Jon
In 2009, Jon and Steve performed "Concerto for Group and Orchestra" in Lucern with Guy Pratt on bass guitar and an orchestra. One of my best moments in my life.
Fantastic cover ! I hope that such fine musicians as Jon Lord and Steve Lee play together in heaven!
Social media are both, a blessing and a curse. Lots of the heroes of my chioldhood are already gone. In this case RUclips is a blessing. So we may watch and listen to John Lord and all the others over and over again. Last but not least: There's no alternative to a real Hammond as you may see here.
Yes, only Hammond can construct Hammond Organs!
As a DP fan, I have never been crazy about this song. However, this is great and the best version I have ever heard. Crisp and alive...not withstanding Jon & Steve being with the Lord. Both you guys are missed!
Super Cover, R.I.P Jon Lord & Steve Lee...
Despite forty years since the first time Deep Purple played this song even sounded spectacular in 2008. Steve Lee's voice ... spectacular! Jon Lord on keyboards also sounds spectacular!
Hush,Hush,Hush EXCELLENT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rest In Peace Jon, Rest In Peace Steve.... :-(
Now you have to jam every single day.....
Jon Lord was the best. I saw him live once with Deep Purple in Shreveport during the "Stormbringer" tour.
What a voice.
Brutal!! Gracias por estos 9 minutos dandolo todo en el escenario.
One of the greatest Piano-Players ever!! R.I.P. JON
ORGAN player, not Piano, it's a very different playing style ! But still one of the best. Like Steve Lee on Vocals, 2 tragic deaths..

Thanks to "4helpch" pour cette vidéo des Gotthard with Jon Lord in 2008 💖♪💖♪ ♫ 🎸🎷 🎻🎹🎺
Good cover of Joe South's work. I'm confused. This is a Swiss band, playing to a Swiss audience in Switzerland. Yet
Mr. Lee speaks in English. I thought I caught a little bit of non-English in there too, but most of his intro is in English. Why?
Steve Lee's father came from Great Britain, his mother from Switzerland. The non- English phrases are in so-called "Schwiizerdüütsch", in "Swiss pronounced German" which is also for Germans who are not used to this special sound of accent nearly non-understandable... Could I answer your question ?
Odd. They are Swiss, they are playing to a Swiss audience, but the intro is in English. No problem, just a little "different."
Mr. Vinegaroon that's because Jon was an English speaking man...:) I think Steve was polite so that Jon could understand what he said :)
Thanks. I got it now. @@tjazzy3204
